I leaves to much hanging with Ryan and Kelly and Jim Pam and Karen.

It would be a bad ending because it would leave the fans trying to guess what happened, especially with Jim and Pam.

I think if it was the end of the show people would assume that Jim and Pam got together and that Ryan got the job, the only reason it is not sure now is because we know that next season things could change. However there are lots of other issues left hanging, but yes, I think they could get away with that as an ending if they needed to for some reason.

If they didn't have the cliffhangers about the job and stuff it would be alright but... after all that Jim and Pam have been through and all OUR frustration, I think we deserve a season where they're together. ESPECIALLY after the horrible episodes where there was NO interaction between Jim and Pam at all. That was HORRIBLE!

would have been fine..Jim and Pam together. Ryan new boss...Michael stays in his old position. If Jim and Pam become a couple the show may get a bit stale.

I was thinking this earlier and it would have been absolutely perfect.

i think the whole jim/pam bit would have been a perfect way to end the show. so cute.

It would be a pretty good ending to the show I think. I mean, JAM fans get the first date for a new JAM. Michael is still in Scranton up to his old shenanigans. Jan is moving in with him. All in all, a pretty satisfying hypothetical end to the series.

granted, I would not want it to end, but the Job would have been a great ending. It hooks up Jim and Pam (and with the show continuing on break during the first 3 months of Jam), it shows that Dunder Mifflin will potentially be saved by Ryan and his good ideas, Micheal ends up with the only woman for him, albeit a crazy horrible one, Creed gets a blog/word document, Kelly ends up alone (as she should be, removed from the gene pool), and Micheal realizes that he is going nowhere, literally and figuratively.

Yeah, the episode rocked, but there was so much left unsaid. Too much. We have no idea what happened with Karen, and what's going to happen. Or with Ryan and JAM for that matter. As a hardcore JAM fan, I wouldn't want to be left hanging after waiting so long for them to finally get their act together.
