Like most Office fans, I was enthralled by the early series chemistry between Jim and Pam. It was a huge part of why I started watching the show. However, since they've started dating, I feel like their relationship has lost some of it's appeal to me. OK, I'll be honest: It's lost all of it's appeal.
I feel like the writers are struggling to keep things interesting. The hint of a marriage proposal mere months after getting them together seems to me like a desperate attempt at creating some kind of drama/suspense in an otherwise drama/suspense-free relationship.
Rumours have been swirling in the medical world of a new and extremely catching disease: Officeonitis. Cases are popping up around the globe, faster than would be believed possible. Scientists are working frantically for a cure, but so far, none has been found, and numbers of those willing to try are dwindling as more and more succomb to this sickness.
It presents itself in a mild to serious case of obsessive behaviour. Those infected are known to spend hours every day on web sites, trying to satisfy their hunger for more Office news. Withdrawal results in daydreaming, the inability to concentrate,...
I found a song that I think would be great to put along with a JAM fanvid. So here it is, along with the lyrics. My suggestions are in parentheses & italics.
Michael Buble - Everything lyrics
You're a falling star, You're the get away car. You're the line in the sand when I go too far. You're the swimming pool, on an August day. And you're the perfect thing to say.
And you play it coy, but it's kinda cute. Ah, When you smile at me you know exactly what you do. (Insert an adorable Pam smile here, possibly followed by an adorable Jim smile) Baby don't pretend, that you don't know it's true. Cause...
I am fully aware that chel1395 already wrote an article like this. I thought it was brilliant, so I wanted to write my own. I am not taking credit for her idea in any way, shape, or form. I just thought it was a great one, so I am writing my own letter. :)
Dearest The Office,
Until the writers are paid, I will feel an emptiness in my heart every Thursday. You are my favorite show and have been for a number of years. I want you to know that this letter is NOT saying goodbye. I also want you to know that I do realize how insane it is to write a letter to a television show and its characters. However,...
This is a letter I am writing to NBC expressing my outrage towards the strike. Please give me your opinions!
Dear NBC Official,
I am a large supporter of the writers’ strike. I was outraged to find out that such amazing writers as Michael Schur and Mindy Kaling are not being fairly compensated for the episodes you post online or put onto DVDs. If incredible shows like The Office and Saturday Night Live are going to suffer, so will your ratings. Fans like me will not watch whatever you throw at us. I am positive this is not the first letter you...
I really wanted to do the right thing by the Office writers and the entire show so asked the question - Will boycotting DMI really support the WGA? Or will it harm the show if everyone resigned (Would it look like we dont like the show?)
I used every skill Dwight taught me and tracked down 'the office' digital writer.
Okay Dwight didn't really teach me anything useful so I had to ask Gene Stupnitsky (Writer and Producer) who told me who is the Digital Writer and how to contact him (lol)
First of all, this doesn't sound silly at all. I'm glad to hear that you're...
I know this writer's strike is devastating to most fans of The Office as it means that production for the 4th season has been shut down, but it is important that the writers of such an amazing show are fairly compensated for their talent.
NBC has episodes of The Office on their website for free (but with ads) and on DVD. However, the writers aren't paid for these massive sales.
Most of you are probably vowing to never buy another DVD or watch another free episode, and that does help, but what I think we should all do is write in to the people who are keeping us from watching one of the best shows...

Greg Daniels has listed some things to expect this season:
Kidnapping: So, this is what i think is gonna happen, there is said to be some sort of kidnapping i don't think that this is going to be with a person. I think that Dwight is maybe going to kidnap one of angela's cats as a way of getting back with her or something, or i think that Kelly is going to get very mad about Ryan and maybe kidnap something of his.
Jealousy: I predict that Ryan is going to start to date some girl at corporate and Kelly will find out and get extremely mad at him. Also i think...
"This is why I do it. This is what I have to come home to." - snoring Jan -
They got me from the get go. Just to see Michael Scott appear on my screen again made me feel all warm inside. Yes he's back! I shout. And then he speaks. Warm, fuzzy feeling gone, replaced by that o so familiar cringe that I love so much. The good kind of cringe that only Michael Scott can provide.
September the 27th had been marked in my calendar for... well forever it seemed. As weeks passed and The Day drew closer and closer, my expectations, hopes, and speculations became more and more frantic and mixed. There were...
I am going to try to review the episodes of the office here. forgive me if i suck at this.
Even though the employees were having "bad luck", the episode itself was amazing. some of which included:alot of awkward moments,The Muslim tech guy and the stripper was back and Jim and Pam are together. It seemed kind of obvious, that Jam was together in the off season considering Jim just asked Pam out. but they kept it private. it's kind of cool that we have two private relationships that hate each other.I guess that's not even true anymore, Pam and Angela are more of friends then enemies. Although...
