The Bane Chronicles is an upcoming set of short stories about the High Warlock of Brooklyn, Magnus Bane, written by Cassandra Clare, Sarah Rees Brennan and Maureen Johnson. Beginning in April with What Really Happened in Peru, one story will be released every month until December, consisting of 10 short stories altogether. There will then be a single print edition in 2014.

The different stories will be about different points in Magnus's life: Peru, Alec, Camille, France, NYC in different decades. According to the authors' tweets, the stories will contain a lot of romance, and fans of the series will get to see appearances from Alec Lightwood, Camille Belcourt, and much more!
