How come everytime The Hitcher appears in a episode Howard and Vince can never remember him.

The Boosh isn't too interested in continuity. Vince knows what jazz scatting is, then he doesn't. Vince and Howard are the same age, then they aren't. I think the best way to look at is each series is like a reboot. Each takes place in a different location, after all (though the apartment does make occasional appearances in the third series).
