Eh, for me it only grown on me a little. Like I only like two characters from the show and have not only been using the two greatly for stories but have accepted the two as canon characters. Kion and Fuli. The rest to me, is just a ignorable parody of the great franchise of TLK.

Hated it back then, hate it now. I think it's a spit in the face to such a once great franchise. Purely a cash grab on Disney's part. Simba, Nala and Zira aren't even in character at all.

TLG is nothing but 💩. I never liked it since I seen the return of the roar and I didn't enjoy it at all. The animation is horrible the new characters annoyed me, especially the badger. I just follow the first 2 films TLK and TLK 2. In my eyes, TLG doesn't exist since it destroyed the franchise. Kion makes absolute no sense since Kiara has NO brother. I don't want to get into this subject about Fluffy being Kopa/Kion when Fluffy isn't a male but Kiara to begin with.

TLG is super, but TLK1 is great.

^^First of all, Fluffy was NEVER a male but a genderless cub. the creators on the commentary of 2003 said "Here's Fluffy, Simba and Nala's cub, let's end it on Fluffy." TLK 2 is left off of the original film were Fluffy finally has a name and a official gender, a girl, Kiara. Fluffy and Kiara are one cub. Kion is cannon but not tied with the 2 films but in TLG which it's has a whole different storyline where Kiara has a sibling but not in the true cannon films. TLG is just a cheap cartoon series that the animators of TLG wanted to make money off of it. TLK is not fucked up by TLK 2 (which is the official sequel of TLK) TLG is the crappy spin-off that is pointless to be created to begin with. TLK 2: Simba's Pride is combined with TLK. TLG destroyed TLK franchise and I seen it once and it has a very poor animation, the voices are not the same and Kion makes no sense since Kiara is the ONLY child of Simba's who will be next in line to be queen.

The TLK franchise died in 1998. (when this spin-off story of Simba's pride broke down the story).

As for the TLG, it is much better than TLK2, but it is not perfect.

How stupid, Kiara had a brother in the early script of the sequel, later erased it because it complicated the story. In 2014, Disney thought about the decision about Kiara's brother and returned it as Kion.
