What's the difference between Green Day performing "American Idiot" outside of America and Brandon performing "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" outside of Las Vegas?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think American Idiot is criticizing America and how it's run, and telling you that if you like the way it's run, or if you're not opposed to it, like they are, you are an idiot.

Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas is only saying that Las Vegas isn't friendly to newcomers.

There's already great prejudice against america, so some people who possess these prejudice would think "Yay, yet another reason to hate America!"
I don't think there's much prejudice against Las Vegas. Some people may think it's a really weird place, but I don't think there are people who honestly hate it, or enjoy nitpicking at all its flaws, so performing it outside of Las Vegas wouldn't really be an insult.

i don't know about las Vegas song but American idiot is a great song and the lyrics are so deep and have alot of meanings and it's criticizing politics and the american government and want the americans to not listen to the media lies
