A songwriter who worked with Joe Jonas recently on a song for his first solo album, has revealed a little further info on the upcoming record.
The Camp Rock star spent studio time with Kevin Cossom earlier this year to collaborate on his first non-Jonas Brothers album.
"Me and Danja [whose part work includes hits for Pink, Britney Spears], we were actually just working with Joe Jonas," he tells YRB.
"We’re just trying to give him a little edge," adds Cossom. "[Joe is] getting a little older now and I’m just giving him a little edge, but giving him a lane.
"The stuff is coming out really good. As you know, Danja, he's so versatile as far as being a producer," continues Kevin, who will also be working with Justin Bieber.
"He's very versatile, so the sound is a mixture of a lot of different things, but it's definitely something that's coming together."

Finally the secretive couple Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene have begun following each other on Twitter. When Joe was first spotted out and about, and locking lips, with the “Twilight” star she was only following his brother Nick Jonas – so is this the next step in the couple declaring to their fans that they are, in fact, a couple?

We’re waiting anxiously for their announcement – especially after Demi basically came out and said that the two were dating during the Jonas Brothers Tour/Camp Rock 2 Tour – so they must be steady by now! Right?

The Jonas Brothers are maintaining a sophisticated rivalry with pop star Justin Bieber and are pretty cool about the fact that Bieber’s presence in the music world is not hampering their ranking in the pop charts.
Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brotherssaid, “I think there is room for everybody. We’re not afraid of anything or worried about anything. We’re just being who we are and making music that we love. We’re proud of the guys that are following their dreams. As long as they’re doing it for the right reasons, we’ll totally support them.”

Jonas brothers are not worried about Bieber’s girl fan following as they too have their share of fan following. But this year, they experienced a decrease as far as their female fans are concerned after Joe had a break up with his actor and singer girlfriend Demi Lovato.

21 year old Joe says that though they are not dating each other but are still in good terms and are maintaining their friendship.

The Jonas Brothers have had a bad year. Their 3D movie was not a hit, their CD sales are down and they may be splitting up...

And it gets worse. New Musical Express has awarded the brothers with the prize for Worst Group and Worst CD of the year.

We are not sure what they were thinking to give out this type of award. And, Shockwaves Awards is not really a serious award event. It is amore an excuse for people to get together and laugh at musicians that they don't like.

Still, these awards should come as a wake up call to the Jonas Brothers: get with the times and renew their style, or face the fact that they may be on their way out of the music industry.
