The Joker Question

Don't u hte it when.....

When comics or shows make the joker look completely retarded? My fave comic had him in a few times and I usually thought the comic looked realistic until the joker was brought in they made him look like some weird crazy man with a gun he's way cooler than that and he's supposed to have his mouth cut in a smile there was no cuts just makeup and he looked so dumb they basically mocked the geniusthat is joker and in some kid shows I understand that the good guys gotta win all the time and joker can't scare the kids but the bad guy is always gonna look a lil scary and they could at least make it a close call in the shows and comics than make the joker look like an idiot clown he's way cooler than tht xD

Actually this whole answer section is irrelevant. Seeing as the Joker's first comic appearance was in the 1940's and he was only described as a psychopath with just clown paint on his face. When you get into the Revision by O'Neil and Adams which was more through the years of 73 through 89 - was when Joker actually had a deformed face of any sort. Then it gets into the whole dark horse origin with the cut mouth.

You make a strong point, and I completley agree with you. However consider that when they try to make the comic book Joker into a movie or anything to that effect, it ends up looking like this...
There's nothing wrong with Patient J, however, it's not natural.
(Therefore the Glasgow scars are almost necasary in todays Joker)

I love all the origins of Joker. Heath Ledger's Joker was awesome, but his Joker was not just my favorite. I love the Joker because he's insane. I love the Joker because he would pat you on the back one minute and then stick a knife in right after. How he got his face is not a concern to me. One of my all time favorite comics is "The Killing Joke" and of course the origin was different, but he was still the Joker I love.

Not to be mean or anything, but your grammar is atrocious.

Just because someone is insane doesn't mean they still can't be a genius. Joker was the ultimate genius in my book. But, he was still a psycho none the less and calling him just eccentric is like calling a wild badger a weird house pet.

I would agree too but the joker had someone do surgery on his face in the old batman film but didn't show any stitches on his face.

"he's supposed to have his mouth cut in a smile" Just wanted to point this out, but the Glasgow scars aren't necessary in the portrayal of the Joker. In fact most versions of the Joker don't have them.
