This si one of my favorite quotes of all time! At the begining you get the idea that Frollo is the man because he looks like a normal man and Quasi is the monster because he is ugly like most monsters are made out to be. However it is not appearances that make a person a man or a monster. Frollo looks like a normal man but he is cruel and ruthless, seeing "corruption everywhere, except within." Quasi, on the other hand, has been locked up in a tower all his life and treated terribly by Frollo, his master. Yet he still is kind to everyone and does the right thing. It is the inside of people and the actions they have that show whether a person is a monster or a man. By the end of the movie it is clear that Quasi is by far the man and Frollo is a despicable monster.
