Eli smiled as he saw his cute girlfriend make her way down the hallway towards her locker.
She seemed to be carrying a ton of bags. Her orange curls fell in her face as she bit her bottom lip in frustration in the most adorable way imaginable to Eli. The sight before him was too cute, and he was so awe struck he forgot all about giving her a hand with all the probably really heavy bags. Clare finally made it to where Eli was standing in front of her locker.
“Thanks Eli, I've got it.” She muttered sarcastically, something she had inherited from Eli.
He smirked, “What's with all the bags anyway? Damn, I thought I was the only teen hoarder at Degrassi.” Eli pouted jokingly.
“Very funny.” Clare giggled as she began stuffing the bags into her locker, “If you must know, boyfriend, these are some props for our plays in Mrs. Dawes class. She asked me to bring them in after class yesterday.”
“More plays?” He questioned.
“Yes, she mentioned it yesterday during class. Weren't you paying attention?”
Eli resisted the urge to laugh at this, “Clare, now how do you expect me to pay any attention to Mrs. Dawes whenever I have to sit beside the most beautiful girl in the world? You always have 100% of my attention.”
“Eli.” Clare blushed.
“Yes, beautiful?” He answered immediately.
“Stop that Mr Goldsworthy.” She warned with a hint of tease to her tone. “Come on or we'll be late for class.”
He gently grabbed her hand and together they walked to English. They got not even halfway there when no other then Adam came up behind them, spliting the two apart.
“I hate to break up the love fest, but I believe the PDA rules are still in effect.” He laughed, staying in between them, throwing his arms around their shoulders.
Eli sighed, and moved his head back so he could see Clare on the other side of Adam. She gave him a small smile that said “I know he can be annoying at time, but hes your best friend.”, and a shrug.
Eli wasn't having it. All he wanted was some alone time with his amazing girlfriend, was that too much? It was only Adam being Adam, and it shouldn't have ticked him off so much, but he couldn't help himself.
“Shouldn't you be off with your girlfriend? Not bugging me and mine.” Eli snapped rather harshly, adding in an annoyed glare.
Adam noticed, but knowing how Eli was with Clare, decided to brush it off. “Nope, shes not here.” Adam smiled.

Clare was starting to hate this whole living alone thing. She wasn't too fond of it to begin with, but it would be better than completely leaving behind this piece of her life, the only one still complete, for a brand new life. She just wouldn't have that.
Tonight was like a scene from a horror movie, and here she was. Stuck here alone since her parents were off signing some papers regarding their divorce. It was pouring rain, loud cracks of lightning and thunder rippled through the house, and the power had gone out a while ago. So, all she had was the dim light that the candles she had lite throughout the house provided. This complete and utter silence was driving her mad, and it was times like this that she was glad her mother had bought her a ipod for Christmas last year.
Clares phone vibrated on the coffee table, signaling a text. She grinned, knowing exactly who it was.
Eli: Hey Edwards, be there in a few. Figured you must be scared out of your mind. Love you xx
Clare: See ya soon. Love you too xox
Not even 5 minutes later and Clare heard a loud knock at the door. She couldn't hide her smile, as she leaped from the couch and practically ran for the door, nearly colliding into it before she managed to fling in open.
“Hey El-” She cut off as she came face to face with not Eli, but his worst enemy. Fitz.
