	robothor11 picked I prefer it with the laugh track.: It's a live audience, not a laugh track, as you said. That's what they call it - a 'live audience'. I've been in the live audience, and they don't tell you when to laugh, or 'awww' or applaud. It's cool on the stage, so you're alert, and there's a standup comic talking to us in between takes so that we're in a good mood and are more likely to laugh, but then if they don't like our reaction, they change the line, instead of telling us to change our reaction. And as also been said, it's a sitcom. It's the style of the genre. If I'm watching a sitcom, I expect to hear laughing. posted over a year ago.
