The Big Bang Theory: Amy's parents revealed! 

As previously reported, Kathy Bates and magician Teller are among the lengthy list of guest stars set to appear in the season finale, which will feature Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) wedding — EW can now reveal that the duo will be playing Amy’s parents.

Bates replaces Annie O’Donnell, who briefly appeared as Amy’s mother via video chat during season 9. Amy’s mother has been described as overbearing and overprotective. Amy’s father has not yet appeared on the series.

Among the other guest stars in the finale include Mark Hamill, whose role is being kept under wraps; Lauren Lapkus, who recently debuted as Stuart’s new comic book store employee Denise; Jerry O’Connell as Sheldon’s older brother; Laurie Metcalf as Sheldon’s mother; John Ross Bowie as Barry Kripke; Brian Posehn as Bert; Wil Wheaton as himself; and Courtney Henggeler, who will reprise her role as Sheldon’s twin sister, Missy Cooper.
