Nope, because love is not a science. Explaining love to anyone is hard enough let alone trying to explain it to Sheldon.

You can't explain love to anyone. And as much as some want him to have feelings for Penny, sorry, he doesn't. The writer have said that, they're in charge, it's fact.

Actually love is somewhat scientific, attraction triggers chemical reactions in the brain and pheremones act as chemicals that cause attraction in the first place. That's the chemistry part, there is a little biology there as well as well as some physics thrown in there for good measure haha :)

But as smart as Sheldon is I don't think he would understand it and the more one would explain the more he would counter-attack with his own rebuttal. I still believe that Sheldon subscribes to the idea of symbiosis. 2 people coexisting for the mutual benefit of each other like he has with Amy. She "dates" him to keep her mom off her back and he in return gains a companion.

that love is an emotion to people fell for each other - and it has nothing to do with science or chemistry. its all between the people

I Dont think Sheldon will understand what love is unless we give him the formula of love and make him solve it
