After a delicious breakfast, George went to call his mates one by one while Laura washed the dishes, utensils, and teacups. She then returned to her room, got a sheet of paper, and wrote down her plans for the party in checklist form before placing it underneath her pillow. By this point, the other Beatles had all agreed to come and take care of her. George said when Laura returned to the living room, "All right, Laura, darling, your uncles will be here at around noon. Also, thanks for washing everything earlier!" She replied, "You're welcome, daddy George! Good to hear!" He then kissed her on the forehead and added, "I'm veddy proud of you, love!" Laura responded with a smile. The two spent the remainder of the morning taking a nap on the couch and packing up some clothes for the visit to Manchester respectively.
