George played his panpipes while everyone else woke up at the dawn of Halloween. By 8:00 am, the train finally made it to Canterbury much to our heroes' excitement. "This is what I call the perfect ending to an eventful ride!" Pattie said as they came to a full stop. "And you even got a souvenir from the battle, sweetheart!" George replied with a wink. Pattie chuckled in response.
Shortly after all the passengers had disembarked, the driver decided to have a little chat with the Harrisons and Ringo. He said, "The fireman told me you had one heck of a fight with that Phantom Tyrannus. Good thing none of you got hurt in the process!" George replied, "Not at all, sir! It's safe to say that he underestimated our teamwork." Ringo added, "As a result, he ended up becoming nothing more than a heap of soot!" Sparkie made a noise that sounded like he was saying, "Yeah!" The driver could not believe his ears! "You mean you ACTUALLY killed him?!" he replied. "Right as rain!" nodded George. The driver then remarked, "Well, I'll be! That was bloody magnificent!" Laura replied, "Sure was! Best. Showdown. EVER!!!" Pattie added, "I echo what my daughter said!" George and Ringo smiled, too.
The chat ended with the driver saying his thanks for saving the ride and wishing them a lovely visit. Afterwards, George called Harry to let him know that they have arrived while Pattie, Laura, and Ringo bought some candy from a sweets shop.
