Susan Leigh had planned this all perfectly. She would slip into the boot of the Beatles’ car while everyone else was distracted, while the Beatles were running away from all her fellow fans and they tried to catch the Beatles by chasing them. She would stow away to their hotel with them, hidden by the instruments and luggage in the back. And then when the boot was opened, and the Beatles found her, she would climb out and face her beloved boys, and she would look deep into Paul’s dreamy eyes and say....
“Eee! Paul!! Huminaminama....”
The Beatles stared at her. Susan twisted her fingers together nervously, eyes shining with excitement and tears. What had she wanted to say again? She knew she’d thought of something, but – oh, there were Paul’s eyes for real, those breathtaking long lashes, and – what colour were they? Susan had always wondered about that, and now even looking at them up close in person, she couldn’t tell.
“Umignabah,” she stammered. Or something like that. Come on, Susan! She’d played this out in her head a million times....
“Oh – hello,” said Paul, in his wonderful soft, warm voice. “What were you doing in our boot?”
Paul had spoken to her... Susan could hardly believe it. With a squeal, she launched herself at Paul, arms outstretched to wrap around his neck... She just had to kiss him right now, this wonderful, beautiful man....
An arm reached out in front of her, blocking her way and pushing her backwards. “Maybe you’d better leave now,” said the Beatles’ driver sternly.
“No! No, I... Paul!” cried Susan, straining to get closer, stretching out her hand to Paul, hoping desperately that he’d take it. There was so much she’d wanted to say to him – and now she couldn’t remember any of it. How could she leave before she’d even got the chance?
But the Beatles were already going, heading for the door while Susan struggled to follow. The Beatles’ driver held her back until the Fabs were inside. “Paul!” she cried, tears falling from her big blue eyes. “I love you!!”
Paul turned in the doorway, giving Susan a small wave with his slender left hand – and then he was gone. Susan collapsed in a heap on the ground, sobbing outright now, as their driver let go of her and made his own way towards the door with the instruments. She wouldn’t be able to follow them now. The Beatles would have gone up to their room, and the hotel would never give her the room number, not even if she told them how she and Paul were meant for one another....
Why hadn’t she been able to talk to them? She’d spoken to her mum about the Beatles coming here when she’d first found out. “What do I say to them, Mum?” Her mum had told her that the Beatles were just ordinary people like anyone else, and she should talk to them as though they were. But Susan, who had always been rather shy, knew she wouldn’t get anywhere with the Beatles if she talked to them the way she’d talk to anyone else. So she’d planned a speech in which she told the Beatles how much she loved them and told Paul that she would be his forever – and even now, she still couldn’t remember a single word of it.
Her mum had been wrong. The Beatles weren’t ordinary people like anyone else. Ordinary people didn’t make you feel the way she’d felt when she’d first seen Paul for real just now. Ordinary people didn’t make your heart beat a million times faster, until your thoughts were completely overwhelmed and you were reduced to a sobbing heap, knowing that your life would never, never be complete until you and he were together....
Susan sat up, smoothing her short brown hair, which had gotten messed up in the car boot, trying to work the flip back into it. She had to make this work somehow. Because Paul was anything but ordinary, and that one little taste of seeing him had only made her want him more.

Next morning, George and Laura drove off to fetch Pattie before proceeding to the Palace for their mission. Laura said while they were on the road, "Gee, daddy George. I wonder what happened to that poor Corgi..." George replied, "Me too, Laura, darling. I'm sure we'll find out about that soon, though." Laura smiled and nodded in agreement. Pattie herself was ready and waiting by the time they reached her flat. As she boarded George's car, the lovebirds greeted each other with sweet pecks on the cheek. He then asked, "How are you, love?" Pattie replied, "I'm doing great, honey. Thanks!" George...

It was almost 11:00 pm by the time the group capped off a very tasty dinner. After paying for their food, they decided to take another walk around the restaurant's area for a bit. Then, they returned to the hotel and their respective rooms. George, Pattie, and Laura relaxed together on the couch before calling it a night. The latter said as she looked at the shamrock vase they made, "Well, daddy George, looks like our trip is almost over now. I guess we can say that we had a blast overall!" George replied, "We certainly can, Laura, darling! This is truly yet another experience which we'll never...

The day of the second concert was finally here, and everyone had returned to spending time at St. Stephen's Green after the mop-topped lads left their instruments on the stage. While it was John, Paul, Ringo, and Mike's turn to explore the park's other side, George, Pattie, and Laura went on a stroll by the pond. "Daddy George, look! Swan boats! Can we go for a ride on them, please?", exclaimed Laura at one point during it. George replied, "Absolutely, Laura, darling! I'd enjoy a good boat ride myself." He then asked his sweetheart, "How about you, love?" Pattie replied, "You've just read my...

After two days of resting from their adventures, the Beatles and Laura scheduled their second concert for tomorrow (March 29) during lunch time before heading to a department store located at the city square. George had already returned the van to the rental center and bought more blueberry scones by this point. As they began walking, Laura remarked, "It's fair to say that I've collected a great number of shamrocks throughout our tours, daddy George! Twenty in total!" George replied, "You certainly did, Laura, darling! Speaking of, that just gave me an idea!" Laura said, "Oooh! What is it?"...

Later that evening, our heroes went to have dinner at a cafe located just outside the Castle grounds. Aside from the main course, they ordered a whole Black Forest cake complete with large cherries on top (This was Laura's choice for her birthday) to share for dessert. Laura told her father while the food was in preparation stage, "It's hard to believe I'm ten years old and a big girl now, daddy George!" George replied, "I agree with that, Laura, darling! Seems like only yesterday when I first met you at that orphanage, and you were eight back then." Laura replied, "Yeah. Time really does fly...

Today is officially Laura's tenth birthday, and the group had just reached the vicinity of the last place to visit in their itinerary: Blarney Castle, which is home to the famed Blarney Stone. Of course, there's also a good number of well-kept gardens that are open for anyone to stroll around and even just to relax. "So how are we going to see the Blarney Stone, daddy George?", asked Laura as her father studied the map. George replied, "Well Laura, darling, I'm happy to say we'll just need to go up to the roof of the Castle to accomplish that! It is located right there." Laura...

Laura had such a wonderful sleep throughout the rest of the road trip that she got up immediately when George brought the van to a parking spot and as Pattie shook her in a gentle manner while saying, "Wake up, dear! We made it." Laura replied, "Perfect timing, Pattie. Perfect timing!" This made her chuckle in response. Once everyone had disembarked, George carried his daughter for a shoulder ride and said, "I see you slept veddy well, Laura, darling!" Laura responded, "I sure did, daddy George! That was refreshing, too." George smiled and remarked, "I'm glad." Laura smiled back. Expressions...

Two days later, everyone woke up at around 5:00 am and were on the road to Giant's Causeway. Now if you're wondering why they left an hour before sunrise, that is because George thought it would be best to see the place first thing in the morning and so that he could watch the sun come out while driving. As he whistled merrily, Pattie and Laura were sharing a sweet mother-daughter moment together. Laura asked, "Pattie, how has your career as a model been thus far?" Pattie replied, "Good question! It's been very lovely overall, my darling!" Laura remarked, "Awesome! I'm glad to know that." Pattie...

The Beatles, Pattie, Laura, and Mike kicked off the new day with their much-anticipated morning swim. Even Sparkie couldn't resist joining them in the water just like what he did at Blackpool two years ago! Laura also brought along and wore her goggles so that she could do some beach diving. Ringo said, "It's very nice to go swimming with you for the first time, Pattie!" She replied, "Thanks, Ringo! The same goes for you all." George said, "Indeed, my love!" Everyone continued having a lot of fun for the next two hours. Afterwards, they proceeded to the picnic table where they ate the canned...

The sun had started to set by the time our heroes made it to the Dingle Peninsula, and at just the right moment, they found the perfect beach to hold their overnight camp-out. After parking the van again, everyone got all their stuff and walked down towards the sandy surface. George told his sweetheart as they did so, "Love, since you might not have your own sleeping bag, I decided to buy one just for you earlier this morning." Pattie replied, "Oh, you did? How very sweet, my darling! Yeah, I don't have one unfortunately, so thank you so much indeed!" George smiled and said, "Heh, heh! It was...

"Oh, my goodness! This has got to be the most beautiful view I've ever seen!", exclaimed Pattie as the group reached the Cliffs after a short hike from where the van was parked. George replied, "I could not agree more, my love! It's simply a glorious sight to behold!" Laura said, "Indeed, it is, daddy George!" John said, "And I can see why these Cliffs are a popular site among tourists." Mike said, "Yeah. Pretty much everything about them is postcard-perfect, I must say!" George replied, "Definitely, me mate!" The others nodded in agreement. Pattie said, "Well, time to open your cameras! We'll...

The next day...

George, Pattie, and Laura went to have another morning walk together shortly after breakfast and booking their tours for the rest of the other places in their itinerary. Next up on their list are the Cliffs of Moher as well as a joyride around the Dingle Peninsula and Wild Atlantic Way. This time, however, George had chosen to rent a van in which he can be the one to drive since he missed doing so. As they were walking, they happened to pass by the same salon where Adam landed and destroyed its garden. When the hairdresser noticed the trio, she decided to take a break from replanting...

Once the group got themselves settled in a seafood shack after meeting each other again at an hour before six, they began sharing how their respective tours went while their orders were being cooked. John asked, "So how was your walk at the beach with Pattie and Laura, Geo?" George replied, "It was bloody magnificent, mate! We had it all to ourselves and took plenty of photos there until almost sunset. Also, do you wanna know the best part of our entire tour?" Paul said excitedly, "Of course! Go ahead! What is that? George continued, "I finally found my connection to this place after discovering...

"Yes, daddy George? What is it?", asked Laura as she and Pattie ran to check his awaited discovery. George then pointed his finger towards an old farm lot, and the nearby house had been inscribed with what appeared to be its former owner's signature. He said, "Ye see that place over there? That was where Grandpapa John (For those who are wondering, John French is the full name of George's maternal grandfather) used to live in before moving to Liverpool! Thank goodness it's still intact after all these years!" Pattie remarked, "Bless me! So it is! Really amazing how you have quite a family connection...

Thanks to the combination of the cool breeze and sunny weather, George, Pattie, and Laura were sure to have a fantastic tour as they went down the steps leading to the county's wide beach. From the left side, a view of the Hook Lighthouse (Which is one of the oldest in the world) could be seen. Laura said, "It's great to be near the sea again, daddy George!" George replied, "And to feel that gentle wind in our hair, Laura, darling!" He then asked Pattie, "You like it, too, love?" She replied, "Oh, yes! Indeed, I do, honey!" George said, "Jolly good! The journey had been a very relaxing one for the Beatles, Pattie, Laura, and Mike as their van drove through the highway. This was helped by the fact that their views consisted of lush green meadows and fields of colorful flowers. While Laura was busy looking at them, George and Pattie were once again gazing lovingly at each others' eyes to the point where they rubbed the tips of their noses together for the first time! After a soft, sweet giggle, Pattie said, "I'm very excited to celebrate this special day of mine with you, honey." George replied, "So am I, me beautiful birthday lady. This...

Now that St. Patrick's Day had arrived, George, Pattie, and Laura woke up feeling rested and ready for their County Wexford experience. After changing into their green outfits, they proceeded to meet with the others at the restaurant. Of course, this wasn't the only special day for them now. "Happy Birthday, my dear!", George told his sweetheart as they rode the elevator and kissed her on the cheek. "And Happy Birthday, my future new mummy!", added Laura. Pattie flashed a big smile and replied, "Aw! Thank you so much indeed, darlings!" George said, "It was our great pleasure,...

Just yesterday, we had a morning swim at the pool and drank some tasty strawberry lemonade. We then returned to Grafton Street and ate at an Italian restaurant, which also happens to be one of Dublin's best, later that evening." Mike said, "That's bloody fantastic! I can tell you enjoyed yourselves very much." George said, "Mm-hmm! We certainly did." Pattie and Laura agreed. The former then asked, "And what time did you set our ride...

We now rejoin George, Pattie, Laura, Mike, and the other Beatles in their morning walk, and I am happy to say that they're having a grand time with it together! At this point, it had taken them to the city square where something intriguing seemed to be in preparation stage. Laura asked, "Oooh! What's going on there, daddy George?" George took a closer look and replied, "Hmm...Judging by those floats, I can sense a parade of some sorts coming up, Laura, darling." Laura remarked, "Yeah. I can see that, too." John said, "And it's no ordinary parade, actually! That's the annual St. Patrick's Day...

Meanwhile, in the outskirts of Dublin, Adam was still on the run from the wrath of the hairdresser. However, he had become exhausted and didn't have any other option but to rest for a while. He said as he lied down on the grass, "I can't believe it. I just can't believe it! I've been given a verbal thrashing by one of the members of that insect band! Oh, well. Why bother? That bird really needs him more at the end of the day. Now, I hope the hairdresser won't find me here..." He then fell asleep. Unfortunately, more trouble was around the corner.
