Grey's Anatomy isn't my favorite TV show, but I can't think of a show that had made me cry the most. First the bomb episode, the season finale where Denny dies, the episode where there was an accident with a train and two people had a pole stuck between them, when George's dad died, the shooting especially when Charles dies...and i can think of many more moments with other one-episode patients that were heartbreaking.
No other TV show has made me cry like Grey's has.

rorymariano picked One Tree Hill:
Jimmy, Keith, Q, and Lydia dying.
All of their funerals (especially Q's)
Haley/Karen's depression.
Dan trying to hang himself.
Lucas trying to convince Peyton to get an abortion.
The Breyton scene where they burn Lucas's book.
Peyton making her video for Sawyer.
Everybody after they wake up from a coma.
Peyton's sacrifice.
Nathan after Haley leaves him.

There's much more, but that's all I can think of atm.

I've cried at least three times with this show possibly more. Plus I don't watch any of the rest of the shows listed enough to know if I've ever cried with them. Grey's Anatomy would be my next choice though. It has had some sad episodes that I've actually seen.

BtVS is my favorite show, AND it definitely makes me cry more than any other show. But I think that's also part of why it's my favorite. It's such an emotional show with such depth, and you really care for the characters--- so you can't help but cry when something bad happens. And tragedy in the Whedonverse is a pretty common occurrence.

I think I cried more during the episode "Abandon All Hope" than in entire seasons of other shows. It was even worse the second time around, 'cause I knew what was coming & cried through the whole thing. Nothing else can compare. >.<

& Ghost Whisperer. I'm already pretty much a wimp and cry at the drop of a hat, but 24 is something else. I shed tears in pretty much every GW episode because seeing JLH cry makes me cry. But 24 stuff made me have an all-out bawl fest. The deaths! The series finale! The season 1 finale! Edgar! :( I have an intense attachment to the show.

Priscilita22 picked Grey's Anatomy:
I don't really cry that easily with TV shows lately, but back when Grey's first started, I would literally cry in every episode.
Right now, I think it's a tie between Grey's and Lost, but with Lost I've only recently started watching so I kind of know the basics of what's going to happen, or at least I have some kind of idea if something bad is about to happen and what it is, so I'm more prepared for it (although I have been known to tear up more than once while watching it). With Grey's I didn't know so I remember many episodes that had me crying a lot, the bomb episode, the train episode, and the episode when Denny dies come to mind.

I'm like a freaking brick. I hate that, because there was a lot of sad moments in television, but I've cried with one particular moment, with the end of an episode of Futurama, "Jurassic Bark". It was one of the most painful things I've seen on television, even more than the ending of "Six feet under".

OTH is no where near my favorite show now, but once upon a time it used to have really deep, meaningful, and emotional episodes. I rarley cry in tv shows but OTH has made me cry and come close to tears in a lot of scenes. Grey's Anatomy is a close second.
