Grey's Anatomy (Watched until the beginning of season 4)
It was one of my favorite shows during its first three seasons... Then at some point during the third it gradually started getting less and less interesting. Some characters started annoying me with issues that seemed to go on forever, some characters started getting a bit unlikeable, the ones I liked left, didn't like some of the new relationships at all, and suddenly around episode five or so of season 4 I realized I wasn't as excited to watch a Grey's episode as I was before, so I stopped.

Gossip Girl (Watched until the middle of season 3)
Season 1 and 2 were fun and entertaining, I liked the development of the characters, I liked the relationships they had with each other, etc. Then in season 3 I don't think they found a way to make the college thing work. There were characters scattered around everywhere, with no story tying them together. And the drama became more boring then fun, so I stopped halfway through the season.

The O.C. (watched the first season and half of the 2nd one)
LOVED season one, and still do... It was my favorite show at that time when I didn't watch a lot of TV. But then season 2 started and everything went downhill (for me). It just became too weird, too many new characters that served no purpose, storylines that weren't compelling, and I lost interest.

Prison Break (watched the first season)
The first season was very compelling, I watched it on dvd a while ago and really liked it. I never watched the rest though, because I felt like the premise of them escaping prison was done and I couldn't see where it could go that would be good from there on out.

Heroes (I watched the first 5 episodes)
Everyone loved it, at that time it was all people talked about when mentioning tv shows... so I decided I would check it out. I watched five episodes and never really got into it...

I only watched GA, Gossip Girl (s1) and Heroes (a few episodes). Heroes and GA were really bad imo. GA was great in s1&s2 and then it started to get worse and worse, I only watched it nowadays because I'm really attached to one character :/

Watch a new show. There are so many great shows out there!
Have you seen Pushing Daisies? Not many people know it but I find it really hard not to like it and it's one of my favorite shows. Also it's very short, only 22 episodes

I love The OC. I only watched season 1 of Prison Break too, so you're smart to have stopped then as well. I stopped watched GG a long time ago too, the others I haven't seen.

ecpjll it's amusing by now, but you really have to find a new way to comment cause it's getting monotonous, I see your same words everywhere.

nandacavalieri hahaha yeah, I'm probably not going to keep watching any of them haha, I'm just bored so I made the pick. But I was also curious, maybe one of them got better since I left it, though I'm pretty bad a re-starting a show once I stopped watching.
As for Pushing Daisies I have seen it and I love it, but I haven't finished it yet because I was mad at it getting canceled and having to rush its ending. I have to get over it though, and finish it properly soon.
Right now I'm still working on Lost though ;D (Thanks by the way for the recommendation cause I'm loving it!)

I did the SAME THING for everyone of your choices. Heroes, and Grey's I lost interest in under 4 episodes lol.

I have the attention span of a nat so storylines/or characters really have to grab me to keep me interested.

For the ones I watched or watched:
Gossip Girl: I still watch it, it's inertia. Season 4 gets better than season 3 because they introduce a storyline that sort of includes every character, the Ben-Juliet storyline. It gave the show more mystery, and better "drama". It got better than season 3 (IMO), BUT still not as good as season 1&2...so I guess you can give it another shot if you are bored and don't have anything else to watch.

Grey's: I watched until season 5 ended, and have no desire to watch season 6, I don't like where they were heading with that season, and George dying, and Izzie leaving, it made Grey's lose its essence for a while. But I hear season 7 gets better, so I'm probably gonna start watching season 7 soon.

The OC, I watched half of season 3 and it was pretty much the same as season 2, I stopped watching halfway through. But if you want to know how it ends you can watch season 4, since it has less episodes, it's short, and quiet a few people seem to like it. But yeah, I can't say for myself beacuse I also stopped watching.

The others I've never watched!

DarkSarcasm picked Heroes (Watched the first 5 episodes):
If you're ever in the market for just one season of something, I'd recommend Heroes - just the first season. I thought it was great. Started going downhill in season 2, finally crashed & burned in... what was it, 4? I gave up during 3. Anyway, I think season 1 is worth watching if you're bored. =)

Well, Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy and The OC are al in my all-time favorite tv shows :)
Season 4 of Gossip Girl is awesome (according to me) even if they are some storylines that we already saw.
Grey's Anatomy, it's true, lost his magic when Izzie and George left. Now, there are a lot of new character. But, you should give a chance to it, because season 7 is good.
Now, the OC, I agree season 1 is the best and season 2 isn't very good but season 3 is okay. Season 4, is by far the worst season ...

well if you really want, i would say greys anatomy. *SPOILER FOR YOU SINCE YOU HV NOT WATCHED* after season 4, there is more of a focus of other character and mer and der try to have a child and there is callie and her new girlfriends.. (it gets more messy) if you like mark and lexie and callie, you should definitely continue watching. but if you are more interested in mer/der then dont. they are more like a side couple nowadays. though they had quite a bit of focus for a extended period of time but now not really.

the second option would be to watch Gossip girl, and i have to agreed with u GG season 3 was terrible so boring. i as well stopped in the middle but season 4 is awesome. the first half focuses on a mysterious identity.. (its pretty thrilling) and of course if you love shows who love make charcters get together with everyone, this is definitely the show to watch..

as for OC. the whole show is over so, its like no point.. (but if ur really bored get way to pass time in my opinion.

prison break,ehh.. doesn't really matter, i didn't really like teh series.

and lastly heroes, my suggestion, dunt continue. it just goes downhill after the 2nd season. wasted my time.. so dissapointed.. what the point of everyone ends up with powers. honestly, i think no ordinary family plot was more interesting..

I liked Heroes but if five episodes of the first season didn't grab you I doubt it ever will. The first season is usually regarded as the best.

The OC is one of my favorite shows, but I didn't like S3 that much. I know a lot of people dislike S4 but I actually like it a lot.
I completely agree with what you said about GA, at some point in S3 I started to lose interest as well and I didn't enjoy watching S4 either. BUT I loved S5 & S7 is really good, too. S6 not that much, except the finale which has to be one of the best GA episodes ever. After all, I'm glad I didn't give up on the show.

Aww you should! My friend is going through the same thing (I made her watch PD haha) and it's heartbreaking to see it ending like that but you have to watch all episodes.
YAY! Lost! What season?

Do you have an open mind about cable shows? 'Cause I have some pretty great recommendations :)

solsis, don't waste your time with GA. I truly dislike s7, well though some like it. But I think you would spend your time better watching other shows

Really?? That sucks! I was only considering starting to watch it again because some people said the episodes this season were more like the "old grey's" but that's just what I heard...now I don't know if I should watch it haha...especially considering I was really disliking the end of season 5 and the beginning of season 6.
But yeah, there's a bunch of shows I want to start watching, so I'll probably give them priority over Grey's haha!

really? It feels like a whole new show to me. M.A.G.I.C. is pretty much gone, now it's the Callie/Arizona/Mark show. Yikes (I like them but I don't want everything to be about them). In my opinion it's a huge, messy soap opera now :/
