They ruined everything that was good in the show. Afwul pairings, stupid un-funny Randy trying to replace Eric and just overall not as funny as before.

Not trying to bash or anything, I don't hate Stelena but I thought it was just a little too early to be calling them epic. I don't have anything nice to say about Joey and Rachel.

BTW season four of The OC was awesome.

The first 6/7 seasons were legendary! But after Doug Ross, Carol Hathaway, Mark Greene and John Carter left, the magic was completely gone. They should have pulled the plug earlier. I kept watching for the occasional guest appearances of old cast members, but most of the story lines had gone over the top.

No words to describe Connor other than Epic fail!
Joey and Rachel were awful, they added absolutely nothing to the show and Joey in love is just wrong, he can't work it.

OC season four was amazing! Ryan/Taylor FTW!

Don't even get me started. I could write a book on this, but i'll just say...
OTH used to be my absolute favorite show. And them continuing it for THIS long has completely ruined it for me. It's not just that I'm pouting because my favorite couple (Leyton) left. It's about the fact that when they left, after season 6, the show was atleast still decent and respectable at that point. But that's when it should have ended... when it was still on a somewhat high note, with all the core characters still there.

We're now into the 8th season, and the show in general now just SUCKS. They replaced Leyton with a bunch of pointless newbies that nobody cares about, and the storylines these days are just ridiculous. There is no reason whatsoever for this show to have been on the air for this long. It just gets worse and worse. And I never thought I'd say that... but here we are. And there are rumors about a NINTH season? Spare me! :/

OTH is nothing without Leyton,its sucks alot. i also dont understand that Joey&Rachel was a couple for a moment,the sucks,is was cleary Rachel belongs with Ross:D

For me , season 4 of THE OC was an epic fail . That was by far the worse season of the show ! There was good moments but that's all !
The fact that Ryan ended with Taylor was stupid ! I'd rather him to ended alone than with Taylor (nothing against fan , just don't like them ).It's always have been Marissa . However , that was an epic fail.

Then , for OTH , without Leyton , I understand you it sucks a lot .
But OTH being my all-time favorite show , I can't hate it , I just can't.But like you said before , I would prefer it to stop there .
The "grown up years" wasn't good too . For me , the fourth first seasons was the best by far , when they were all in high school !

OTH without two of its main caracters sucks but also OC after Marissa died was a disaster too!

haven't even seen season 9, but considering that season 8 was a borderline fail, I'm guessing that season 9 really was useless.

Connor was the biggest mistake in television! So annoying!

I like Stelena, but that was ridiculous. I haven't seen OTH S6 and all the following seasons yet but I liked S5. OC S4 was great, I loved it.

Watch two whole episodes since.

But also the one about the grown up years as well, season 4 tied OTH off better, but season 6 did it pretty well too.

The OC continuing after Marissa died too, that was just dumb. And Gilmore Girls after Amy Sherman Palladino left... but then she did screw up Lorelai and Luke by throwing the most random of all children-bearing exes and a daughter for Luke... that was just plain stupid. But then, she wasn't the one who married off Lorelai... some dumb people in the tv world.

Clearly they weren't! This was wrong on so many levels, and the ONLY friends-related thing that doesn't make me smile (and in fact makes me cringe).

Continuing OTH for so many season, and fast-forwarding to grown up years was definitly a failure. I hate when they keep continuing series forever not even caring that they are totally ruining the story they onced showed. For me it's always better to have seen four good seasons, with a developed plot and a good ending, than a series that starting good but went on forever totally ruining itself in the process.

But yeah, I had to go with Rachel&Joey, TERRIBLE IDEA. I don't know who had the idea, but they should really re-think their brainstorming techniques. Rachel&Joey had nothing to do with each other romantically. Friends (In my opinion) could have been close to perfection in its seasons if it hadn't been for that horrible story.

The ninth season of Scrubs is the worst! It should not exist!
