	OceanCoast picked The End- Lost: That wasn't a finale, that was a full-on made for tv FILM event of epic proportions. I don't think I've ever seen a series finale with so much care and love put into it. Just the opening scene with the casket ALONE, was the type of quality production that you'd see in a major motion picture. It went out much the same way it came in. Setting a new standard for what television can do in terms of production and INTELLIGENT storytelling. 	OceanCoast picked The End- Lost: @pizzapi it wasn't a copout. All the island stuff ACTUALLY HAPPENED and they made it off. What the island really was, was left open to individual interpretation which for me, was satisfying considering the real answer they gave us to Adam & Eve (anti-climactic much?) This way it will always be mysterious, instead of it being a really stupid answer to a overblown magic trick. You may not like how they handled it, but in no way does it deserve to be labeled a "copout" The "copout" scenario for me, would have been if everything that had happened over 6 seasons was 'just a dream' or one characters psychotic break from reality that he included all his friends in. That didn't happen. If you didn't like what the Alt turned out to be because it implied religion being forced on you then please see my icon. It was an AFTERLIFE yes, but it wasn't 'heaven' or 'hell' unless you wanted it to be. I think the last 5 minutes of Supernatural (the voiceover) would have clicked with many unsatisfied Lost viewers aswell. He said something along the lines of "at the end of a story there is always going to be plot holes, and things left unanswered, ect" I think that was a very intelligent piece to add because writers of any tv show are only human, and they make mistakes, and in the end no matter what they write people will always dwell on the negative instead of looking at the positive. posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago
