Its quite an awesome role for him. He plays a British spy that spent 8 years in solitary confinement in a Russian prison. He's all tortured and messed up inside.....and really goodlooking!

LOVE Armitage and Macfadyen too, though, but I've only seen part of the pilot for Spooks. I didn't like Robin Hood other than Armitage's winning performance as the tortured Guy, and I couldn't get into Being Human after they replaced the actors who played the ghost and the vampire. I love the unexpected growth of Connor's character; I didn't watch Primeval with the expectation of something beyond a monster-of-the-week show, and got a really interesting and unique character out of it!

British television is just as deserving if not more so, than most of our American programs, yet the US is to frightened to step outside of the comfortable little close-minded bubble most live in here, and see that there is some REAL CREATIVITY coming from across the pond. This saddens me.
