These are both show ruiners, but a show with bad plot was pointless from the start. Bad actors being cast is frustrating though, because with a bad plot you can just think the show's not for you and switch off, when it' a good show poorly cast part of you wants to keep watching because you find the storyline interesting. It's so annoying when you dislike a show (or even one role within a show) you know you would've enjoyed if it had been better cast. So I'm pretty torn on this one. But I also think sometimes that you get bad plots and storylines on shows though, even my favourite ones and then they pick up and get better as the show progresses.
