I've never seen True Blood, bet is awesome but I have seen Vampire Diaries and it's an OK show. The book is better of course.

Seriously, I watched the pilot of TVD and gave up. Its nothing like the books, Paul Waslewski (yes thats his real name) and the girl from Degrassi were not great casting choices for the characters. The only thing I liked about it was Damon but he's not worth sitting through the rest.
