Brooke + Badass Adorable: Brooke grows into a very strong female character throughout the course of the show. She has some of the best development of any female character that I have seen, and while she stands up for herself and those she loves and does not take any nonsense, she is also warm and loving.
Peyton + Broken Bird: Peyton's deep experiences and her painful past make her the quintessential "broken bird" character. Her cynicism and cool exterior, especially in the early seasons, are reflective of the pain she has been going through. She broods and finds her outlet in art, but she also embodies "sugar and ice," in that she shows her warmth and so much compassion to those whom she cares about.
Quinn James + Hot Scoop: Usually, the "Hot Scoop" trope applies to street savvy journalists chasing down a lead, but Quinn is a photographer, and she's smart and savvy.
Rachel Gatina + Femme Fatale: It's pretty self-explanatory, but Rachel Gatina is certainly the a femme fatale character.
Alex Dupre + It's All About Me: Alex's disposition lends itself to self-centeredness, but behind this initial picture, she's hiding all her troubles and pain. Her initial need for attention is only a reflection of that. I personally relate a lot to this; I've struggled for the longest time with coming across self-centered, while being incredibly insecure about myself and over compensating for the fact.
I agree with all but this the most!
