With so many television shows about parents and kids, there’s always a fresh face in the crowd worth finding out more about.

If you were watching Pamela Adlon’s award-winning FX comedy series “Better Things” this season, then you know what I’m talking about. The show follows Adlon as single mom, Sam Fox, who struggles to balance her career and her three daughters (Mikey Madison, Hannah Alligood, Olivia Edward).

In the season three finale Shake the Cocktail, Frankie (Alligood) has decided she isn’t going to live at home anymore. As the storyline unfolds, Sam is on a mission to find...

New York has a long history with delivering some very funny television shows starring some very big personalities. Think “Seinfeld,” “30 Rock,” “Friends,” and tons of others that have brought big laughs as they offered up crazy stories about The Big Apple. And, they’ve also given opportunity for hundreds of actors to show off their comedy chops.

One such actor is Kyle Klaus, who steps into the small screen comedy arena with appearances on two very different shows. He recently helped launch season two of SyFy’s oddball dark comedy “Happy”; and coming up, he joins the hilarious...

If you’ve been watching TV lately, then you’ve definitely seen Vivian Kerr at work. Of course, you might not have realized you were watching the young character actress, since she seems to transform herself from role to role -- but you probably were.

Vivian’s latest TV appearance is in the current episode of Showtime’s sexually charged drama “Masters of Sex,” in which she heads back to the 1950’s portraying a wife who looks to Dr. Masters for help with her husband.

In case you missed Vivian, not to worry. On October 8th, you’ll be able to catch her as a distraught sister in an...

"The Mistle-Tones": Megan Duffy and Andy Gala
"The Mistle-Tones": Megan Duffy and Andy Gala
Actress MEGAN DUFFY brings her big voice to the small screen this holiday season in the all new original ABC Family TV movie musical “The Mistle-Tones.”

Premiering this Sunday, December 9, 2012 and repeating throughout the month, Duffy joins Tori Spelling, Tia Mowry and one of our FanPop favorites Andy Gala, all on a journey to the real meaning of Christmas. In addition, Duffy can be heard on the soundtrack which features songs from the movie sung by the cast.

Originally from Chicago’s South Side, Duffy’s graduated from Northwestern University with a double major in Theatre and Sociology....

As a child growing up in Ann Arbor, Michigan in the early 1980s, I often woke up early in the morning, before heading off to school, to complete watching my favorite Warner Bros./ Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck cartoons. Often times, Dr. Don Rose (Rosenberg), would entice us to watch more cartoons by showing us a series of animals, many of whom we could possibly win by simply guessing the correct name and species of the animal shown on that day's Broadcast. My father urged me not to waste my time on such nonsense, but I did not care, I was so attracted to Dr. Don's voice, that I spent weeks trying...

Those of you who think that television teaches you nothing...well you are in for a rude surprise! As a sitcom fanatic (my list of favorites currently adds to 32) I can tell you with certainty that sitcoms have a lot of life lessons to teach ranging from family, to love, to the everyday. So sit back, relax, and LEARN!

1. If you are married, and intend to renew your wedding vows, DON'T. You will end up divorced.

2. Amnesia is very common. In fact, nearly every time you hit your head amnesia will result. AND it's fairly simple to get rid of. Just have people:
A)Take turns hitting you on the head...

The second season of the acclaimed reboot of “Perry Mason” has taken audiences way beyond the ‘whodunit’ cases of the original.

Matthew Rhys, Juliette Rylance and Chris Chalk star in the noir period crime drama, seeking truth and justice which proves to be a complicated task with unpredictable twists and turns along the way.

Beginning with the “Chapter Ten” episode, actor Brian Norris recurs in the storyline as Twist, a local gun dealer in the sketchy part of town who gets caught up in a murder case.

Brian isn’t new to drama, he recurred as Paparazzo Felty ABC’s daytime soap,...
