do you think Catelynn did the right thing? (I do)

I think Catelynn did the right thing, because of her family life. She wanted to protect her daughter from the things she was going through with her family. Maybe instead of them critizing her for that decision they should wake up and see that it was because of them in the first place. However, I am disappointed in her not using birth control after Carly was born. Carly was five months out and she went to the doctor for birth control, but they were having unproctected sex till then. Why would they risk going that again!

For her, yes - I think she made the right decision. But I personally could never give my baby up. Personally though (I know I'm going to get about 5,896 thumbs down for this - but I don't really care), I don't like Catelynn and don't get how she fits into a show about teen moms. I mean I think it was good that they featured her on 16 and pregnant - to educate girls about that option and to allow people to see a different side of things, but while she is Carly's biological mother - she isn't a mom. She also doesn't seem to understand or respect that Carly is now someone else's child. She really just bugs me.

yes and no they were in love and they could have lived @ Tyler`s mom`s house and yes because Carlie would not have all the things she does now

yes, the conditions that she and tyler live in are disgusting. her mom probably has never showered a day in her life, and butch has been in and out of jail for all of tyler's life. they were smart to give carly up, she didn't deserve to live like that.

As long as Carly has a wonderful life, and Catelynn and Tyler feel at peace with their decision....then yes, I believe she did the right thing. :)
