I'm confused about episode 14...

Why the heck wasn't anyone around the hospital at the end??
Like, in normal hospitals there are a whole bunch of people in the halls. So if you just GET up and WALK out they're going to notice and stop you! there's also people who monitor your life signs so if your heart stop (like is showed on his monitor) they will come to you right away so you don't DIE!
Maybe since he's one of the players in the game they just left him alone for years and let him rot -_-
