Dean is a lot smarter than people think infact he has figured a few things out before sam even thought about it. He also would just give it 2 me straight, not try 2 sugercoat the situation. IF it was dangerous he would tell me(although he did sugercoat the heaven verse hell thing with anne) and overall i think i would feel safer with dean than i would sam. If you were on a hunt would you rather risk your lives to save people or would you rather play it safe and try to get everybody out of the area probably letting the enemy attack somebody? What he lacks in researching he makes up for with his all around bad-ass-ness lol.
