Knocking on Heaven's Door-Houses of the Holy context-
This is an emotional scene with this song in the background. HoH was a religious episode where Sam thinks they are dealing with Angels and he finds out that it was only a spirit. He tels Dean about how he wanted to believe about the angels so badly because he wants salvation. (There is some of that in the beginning of the next clip)

This is a goofy part f SPN where the Trickster makes a frat guy get abducted by a "Sexed up ET" he makes him slow dance and this song is in the background. I've got that clip too XD

Silent Lucidity-Heart context-
This is probably on eof the most emotional moments of the season. This song is playing when Sam realizes he has to kill Madison. The first person he really loves since Jessica died. I found that clip too.

Ok so Season 2 music was really hard to choose from. It was definitely a tie for me between Silent Lucidity and Knocking on Heaven's door. But I chose knocking on heaven's door because that part was where Sam basically opened himself up to Dean letting him know all about his fears. It took courage to do that. but on the other hand Silent Lucidity was heart breaking so either one.
But a few others that were perfect are Cold as ice...that car scene with Ellen was hilarious and REnegade. but all of the songs in season 2 were great.

I love this song. The lyrics fit perfectly for the moment. I thought it was perfect, the volume of it and the rhythm. But The other songs were great too ;D

LOVE the way this song is used. It's still one of my top favourite song usages in the entire series. Just spot on and epic. But there's a lot of great ones on this list. Crossroad Blues and Cold as Ice especially.

This one was so hard. I really liked all of them.
I think this one was the best though, how they came out in the police uniforms with the guns, haha so cool!

Then Can't fight this feeling sung by Dean, because he has a great voice, and loved Sams face. :D

Then Cold as ice because the tension and awkwardness in the car was really quite funny, and Dean made it 10x worse by turning that music on! haha
