Season 11 Episode 6...Thoughts on Dean and Amara ?

Okay so I'm only on episode 6 of season 11. When Dean meets Amara, he is mesmerized by her. Doesn't that seem kind of weird since she's a teenager? Or is it because she will grow up to be the woman who saves Dean at the start of Season 11 ?
