Supernatural Question

A question about Tessa

When Tessa was first introduced, she was a Reaper and was answerable only to Death. They kept that consistent each time she reappeared until season 9. Then, in the episode where she died, she was being treated as an angel. She was working for Metatron while pretending to be working for Cas. But other Reapers in that season (like April) were still being treated as Reapers, not like Reapers are a subdivision of angels. What was going on there?

Angels and demons have so many similarities Like when demons smoke out of the body that they are possessing they are just like black grace and when angels leave their vessels they take the form of their grace so I do not believe that Angels have no soul since demons are tortured souls then angels are very pure souls, my theory is that maybe Reapers are also souls like the demons and angels but maybe they are in between the two of them and that they are picked by Death Himself To assist him and since tessa was being around Death most of the times his ranked was higher and he became near to an angel

Angels don't have souls though, or not ones in the same way as humans, ghosts, demons etc. They were never human. It was never explained where Reapers come from, so they could have existed from the dawn of time or they could be select human souls chosen and changed by Death. Supernatural has just pretty much been inconsistent with them throughout.

Death is an Angel, one of the most powerfull and has no master. He was sent by god after all to do his work ie the tenth plague of Moses. Death like Angels and Demons has his own army and they just bring souls to be judged and no more. Tessa like cas started to question their purpose. Dean killed Tessa with the first blade which has taken over him as he has the mark of Cain even Crowely is afraid.
