Supernatural Question

Have Sam and Dean ever gone to North Dakota?

I've been marking off the places they were and I can't find if they were there or not.

Yes> Dean is working on the Impala, getting it ready. “Police found my car,” Bobby says, walking up. “Abandoned in an alley in Jamestown, North Dakota.”

They use the location names, but they aren't there..atleast, it's good marketing for these spots...for fans like us.

Wouldn't they travel there to get the car then? But they weren't shown doing so.

Was never filmed there..for some reason the show producers Robert Singer and his partner have a fascination for the pacific northwest. Montana/South/North Dakota/Oregon. No doubt, these are the most beautiful, mysterious and exotic places in the US, they are choosing the right spots, but have you ever noticed that they are never in New York or busy places like that? That's probably because demons don't go into densely populated places.Huh?
As far as filming in BC, it's definitely picturesque and still retains it's old culture..

They've mentioned cases in New York state, if not in the city itself. They've also had cases in Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco, so they do go to densely populated locations.

The very definition of Rogue means they have no boss..right? Why report to anyone if they are Rogue? They are free..

I thought rogue just meant they didn't work for their normal or original boss.
