I don't think it can for if it could he would have died in the war in heaven, insted he and 200 other fallen angels were cast down to earth.:)

that isn't how it went in the show.in this show god commanded michael to kick lucifer out of heaven. besides the angel blades only work on angels when they are in a vessel
