I was wondering, since Dean and Sam always stay in motels and buying weapens etc, where do they get the money from to pay all that? do they sometimes have regular jobs in between?
As shown in several episodes, they're masters of credit card fraud and pool hustling, amongst other shady practices. In fact, at one point Sam suggests that they get day jobs and Dean slaps the idea down- citing that earning money in poker games and such is way more fun. I think they establish most of this in Season 1, but even in Season 4 they show the boys hustling pool.
Sam: You and dad still running credit card scams?
Dean: Yeah, well hunting ain't exactly a pro ball career. Besides, all we do is apply. It's not our fault they send us the cards.
That's how they have the money, but of course in one of the seasons Sam did get a job and in the end of season 5 and the beginning of season 6 dean got a job when he lived "a normal apple pie life"
i dont think they have time for (human jobs)!you know what they do sleep eat hunt sleep eat hunt for dean eat sleep eat hunt eat! and if u remmber in seson 1 they talk about stelling money and being fake people, oh and playing poker
Where does their money come from? In season one Sam asks Dean where he got his money, Dean says fun or work? He didn't have to think about it, he says fun. Sam wants to work but Dean doesn't so, therefore their main money source is Credit Card scams. Although they do other scams their main thing is Credit cards.
Dean mentioned they keep getting applications, they fill them out and send them. Of course they are going to use them, BUT, where are they sent? is my question. Bobby doesn't collect any for them? In otherwords, we never see Bobby saying, "These came in the mail for you." What friend? Relative? What address do the use? When John died, the opportunity also died there as a possibilty or is there a "secret penpal" we don't know about? Any thoughts???
They will use fake credit cards and sometimes they will steal cars and they even stole gas in one of the early episodes. Also, it helps having a fake FBI badge for certain items and things so they dont have to buy them
Ah, the wonderful world of credit card fraud. In a lot of episodes you see them using weird aliases that the have credit cards for. When the FBI catches them they mention that they have major charges of credit card fraud. Also, they steal basically anything they need.
Hey! As Far as i remember in one of the episode (forgot the season and episode number ).. Sam was talking to His dad about where His dad get the money to provide for his hunting... That is when Sam came back from College and join His Dad and Dean... His Dad answer "it's from your'e Trust Fund"... i think they Continue using the money from their Trust Fund since they Dad died.
