Supernatural Question

Bit confused about Sam's situation with Cas at the beginning of S6....

Okay, so when Dean is first reunited with Sam in 6x01 (or 6x03, I can't remember), he asks Sam if he has talked to Cas or been able to reach him, to which Sam replies that he has been ignored. Cas then responds to Dean, which kind of annoys them...lol
But anyways, we know from 6x20 that Cas raised Sam out of Hell and was responsible for taking him to see that Dean had kept Sam's promise at the end of 5x22...so Sam knew that Cas was there the whole time, and had in fact been in contact with him. We presume that when he got his soul back in 6x11, his memory of the last year was wiped and therefore he thought Cas and Bobby were dead at the start of 6x12.
Any idea why soulless Sam lied to Dean for months about knowing and talking to Cas before getting his soul back? Just had me a bit puzzled... :S

I was thinking sam could not see cas like in that ep 20 they was all talking and cas was there but they could not see him I was thinking the same thing hear or cas would have been talking to sam the whole time he got him out but sam did not know who got him out as soulless sam too the ep were that demon we love to hate (sorry I can not spell his name) told them he got out sam and that was a big lie so I think sam did not see cas and he walked to see dean but hey I could be wrong.

well in "The Man Who Would Be King" we see Cas by Dean and Sam but like how he had been spying on them about there plans to find Crowley he was out of sight so i don't believe Cas told Sam to go check on Dean in "Swan Song" I think Soulless Sam went to see for himself that Dean did what he asked him to do go and be with Lisa & be happy. I mean the real Sam would have ran to the door and showed Dean he was alive but soulless Sam didn't care as we heard in "Unforgiven" in a flashback soulless Sam says family just gets in the way or something along that line...Anyways as i said before Cas was probably there just not seen

would we even know if the real sam do that to ran and tell dean OH I AM ALIVE did you see deans face at the end he looked happy to be with lisa and ben and sam saw that so thats why I think he did not go in and at the time we did not know he was soulless so I was thinking sam wanted dean to have a real life with 2 people that care about dean. sam has no one to care about him the only ones are dean and bobby and they do not have nomal life so I think the real sam or soulless would have just ran in there he wanted dean to have a good life. so thats what I think.

well everyone has there right to have an opinion on it after Sam got his soul back he apologized for what he put Dean through & if not tell him he might have written him or something he would have known how much this would have destroyed Dean so I still believe real Sam would have done something like Dean did when he was risen from hell.

ok I just got the book one year gone just came out the book said that sam was alone and that he went to dean to check if dean did what sam whated him to do and that sam had no feelings at all and did not know why so its a good book to read.

i think that castiel brough sam back from hell to give him a "normal" life with dean ...then he realised that sam had no soul...i think he looked after the 2 to help them but didn't expect that're going this way...he tried to help but made a mistake...he never answered to sam because he knew what it was wrong and can't do anything with that and when dean called him, he didn't come for the soul of sam but for the weapon of heaven
i think cass was always there but invisible to the brothers...so when sam recovered and had his soul back...he can't remembered castiel because he didn't see him( in hell, when he brough back sam, he was an angel not his vessel, novak i supposed)...so sam didn't lied to his brother but i don't understand one thing, he supposed to have forget everything when his soul back...when he's scratching the wall, he's falling down..so how did he remembered the place of the campbell library in "frontierland"?
