What did you think of the new episode 'Appointment in Samarra'?

This may have spoilers so don't read on if you don't want to know what happens.





Anyway, Sam got his soul back!!! I was starting to think this soullessness would carry on all through the season...which would have been tiring.

Basically Dean has to play Death for a day (minus the British accent) but he has to die but will be revived after 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Sam goes after Bobby because he needs his 'father's' blood for a spell which makes a soul impossible to enter you (if that makes sense).

I was sooo happy Sam got his soul back!! But I am sad that we have to wait till January 28th for new Supernatural episodes :(....how will I survive? Supernatural TV MARATHON!!!

This episode was a must. It would have never go on without sam's soul. And I think the being death thing was good. On the other hand, this season still has no main plot, I think.

I think the Alphas are the main plot. Maybe not. But why does it have to have a main plot, anyway? The first season didn't, really, and it went over big.

I think it has to have a main plot because in this season, the episodes are not related one another. It's just my opinion.

But Death stepped in just in time. I loved him in Season 5 too but now, he was amazing. :) The ending scene was killing me... but since I read the TV Guide article, I know Sam's gonna survive and we are gonna get "tears and cheers too", which I hope means a Winchester hug. *-* So I cant wait to see the next ep. Unfortunately... thats not gonna happen until the 28th of January. I have no idea how I will survive more than a month of waiting. Oh crap. :P :(

same here, i live in Hungary so i dont have the CW either, but for AIS i got a link from Twitter where i cud watch the ep live :)

i liked that geting Sams soul back was hard - it mad for some really big omg moments with robo Sam and i did like like him some times - i even liked that he left with bang - the way he went after Bobby was scary in a hot way !!! - but im so happy that Sammy is out of hell hes not suffring and plus theres a wall up - so we just have to pray that that the wont come down - but i just loved that eps i just loved it !!!!!

As for surviving for a month and a half until the next episode... it's not really a life and death situation, so I'm just gonna sit on my hands, have a private SPN marathon, and howl obscenities at the CW for making me wait. :)
