Am I the only one who couldn't believe that Sam hates Christmas?

Actually, that had occurred to me too. I do get where he's coming from, and especially on that year because it's Dean's last one, etc. but it did surprise me a bit. I was thinking about it the other day and with his faith and everything taken into account, it is a little odd. But hey, that's why we all LOVE Sammy.

No i think he hates it just he had bad childhood - Sam spent his childhood in hottle rooms with Dean - his father was always hunting - and leaving them alone even on xmas - he never had a really joyful xmas so why should he be all gun hole about it .

No ,you are not.I was also suprised because compared to dean,sam had a gentle and understanding heart at that period in the show and you will be willing to bet anything that a guy like that would surely love christmas

i dont think it was that Sam hated it, he just could not have a good time because it was Dean's last. and when Dean and Sam were younger they were left alone to have their own xmas hehe barbie doll poor sammy, but he had dean so in my eye's that should have been enough to have a brother who loves you at xmas but i can see it from sammy's point he never had his crust cut of his pb n j so he didnt get the family bit but awww loved that Sammy did it for Dean :)
