Dean fans you & Dean are searching a basement for vampires. As you follow him down the narrow stairs you both are grasping flashlights and wooden stakes

you resist the urge to turn on a light for this will alert the vamps to you. once at the bottom of the stairs the two of you sweep the room with your flashlights.Dean puts his finger to his lips & gestures that he his heading to the back. as you step to the right something skims the back of your neck. Do you turn and run to where Dean is or turn to fight whatever it is or do you head back to the stairs?
