He seems to be a very proud man, who cares about image and power, which would go along with Lewis staying in the closet. Not that i agree with this course of action, or that in the business world being different in any way is seen as a form of weakness. On the other hand, he has been given a few female love interests. I've also always felt that Lewis had a respect for Donna that goes beyond the workplace.
