In the short video, The Grinch, who lives in the Upside Down, decides to take a shit all over Christmas in Hawkins.

Using his demo-dog – named Max, obviously – The Grinch cuts a big gash in the wall and passes through to the festive dimension.

The Grinch then steals Steve Harrington\'s precious baseball bat (covered in nails), before being interrupted by little Cindy Lou-Leven.

has been officially renewed for a third season by Netflix, who announced on Twitter: "FOR THE LOVE OF STEVE, DUH! So hold tight baby darts — season 3 is officially happening."

No further details were given in regard to when it would be released, and reports suggest that the season is still being written – so we expect it won\'t drop for at least another year.

Co-creator Ross Duffer previously said that the show could last about four seasons, though the Duffer brothers and producer Shawn Levy have since suggested that it could go beyond that.

"Hearts were heard breaking in Netflix headquarters when the brothers made four seasons sound like an official end, and I was suddenly getting phone calls from our actors\' agents," Shawn said.

"The truth is we\'re definitely going four seasons and there\'s very much the possibility of a fifth. Beyond that, it becomes, I think, very unlikely."
