For the 25th anniversary of Blue Clues, Steven Burns made a video for the fans. In the video, he talked about what he had been up to since he left the series. He also expressed his eternal gratitude to the fans for all the help that they have given him over the years. Steve's video is one of my personal favorite videos of all time. In order to thank Steve, I'd like to share a message of my own that's inspired by his message.

My message for Steve:

Hi, Steve. Do you remember how when I was little, I would watch you and Blue? Back then, I was just learning to walk and talk, so my memories might be a little fuzzy. However, I remember you and your green-striped shirt. I remember you talking to Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper and Slippery Soap. I remember how unique and unusual it was to have a show with talking objects. It was unlike anything that I had ever seen before.

Then, one day, I stopped watching Blue's Clues. I realize that was kind of abrupt. I kind of just moved on to other shows. I tried using my mind and taking a step out of time, so I could watch shows meant for older audiences. Because of that, I didn't see you for a real long time.

Since then, I have started a writing career. I've been working hard to accomplish everything that I want to do. Since I've watched you, I've had to deal with things like school, sadness and anxiety, and those things have been difficult. However, ever since I started rewatching you and Blue, things have been easier for me. You, as well as Joe and Josh, inspire me and give me the morals, friendliness and compassion that I need in my life.

I have learned to realize that some shows for little kids are better than I gave credit to. Blue's Clues might be the biggest example of that. As a little kid, I enjoyed the bright colors and imagination, but I was too young to truly appreciate all the heart and love that was put into the series. If I had known how genuine and impactful Blue's Clues was, I would have never stopped watching it. However, now that I'm an adult, I'm allowed to choose what I watch, and Blue's Clues has become one of my favorite shows to watch. I can appreciate a good adult show, but there are times where I need something wholesome and innocent.

Look at you and all that you have done. For over two decades, you've been warming the hearts of the fans. I want you to know that all those episodes that you starred in back in the late 90s and early 2000s are still helping me today, right now, and that's super cool.

I just want to say that after all these years, I love you more than ever, and I'll always love you. Thank you for reading.
