so supposedly in Midnight Stefan tells Elena that he is not the one that she wants. Does anyone know what her response to this was?

yes. Damon 'dies' and so Stefan apologizes to Elena and says that he is sorry he came between them and yada yada. But she wants to tell him that she loves him just as much but she is so speechless she cant.

She wanted to scold him and tell Stefan she loves him...don't believe in everything said by the DE fans...

I haven't even read the book, but all of this makes me cry.

"To tell Stefan she loved him just as much.." - the whole point for me was that she loved him more, that he was the one for her.

The reason why Romeo and Juliet are an epic love story is because there was no one else for her. They may never got their happily ever after, but their love was pure and true.

I hate what's going in this book, and I still haven't read it.. because I was too afraid when I heard how much Stelena fans hate it. The whole point was how much MORE she loved Stefan.. how she wanted to be with him forever, how it's always going to be him. "Forever" and "always", such a strong words, and I believed her, and now I feel like they're gone with the wind.
