Steampunk Question

Do you consider Western style science fiction to be Steampunk?

In what category would you place Wild Wild West (1999) or Firefly? On a similar topic what would you call Treasure Planet (2002), Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) or even Leviathan which is supposed to take place during WWI.

Firefly and Wild Wild West are both western subparts of steampunk. Treasure planet is more 16-1700's so it would have to date back before steampunk times which is around the industrail revolution or more like the mid 1800s - early 1900s. Leviathan takes place in ww1 which was fought in Europe so it fits right in with the average idea of steampunk, but more towards its later years.

I've never seen Wild Wild West, I don't consider firefly to be steampunk because it doesn't take place in the Victorian era. Atlantis and the Leviathan on the other hand fit the bill completely! Both my favorite Disney movie and book.
