The six issues will retell the story of Rian Johnson’s film, but Marvel is also promising that the series will contain “never-before-seen” material. Perhaps, like the upcoming novelization of
the comic adaptation will contain scenes of Han Solo’s funeral and further elaborate the relationship between Resistance sisters Paige and Rose Tico. Or perhaps it’ll be something else entirely. Mike del Mundo’s cover for the first issue certainly paints porgs in a whole new light.
