Star Wars: The Last Jedi is getting a comic adaptation 

is still rounding out its theatrical run, but fans will able to take in the story in a whole new way this spring. Just as it did with

, Marvel will be publishing a six-issue comic adaptation of

to be written by Gary Whitta with art from Michael Walsh and Mike Spicer. And rest assured, this sacred Jedi text

The six issues will retell the story of Rian Johnson’s film, but Marvel is also promising that the series will contain “never-before-seen” material. Perhaps, like the upcoming novelization of

the comic adaptation will contain scenes of Han Solo’s funeral and further elaborate the relationship between Resistance sisters Paige and Rose Tico. Or perhaps it’ll be something else entirely. Mike del Mundo’s cover for the first issue certainly paints porgs in a whole new light.
