The following is a list of minor notes and observations that came to me, during my recent viewing of EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH". I hope that you enjoy them:

Notes and Observations of "STAR WARS: EPISODE III - REVENGE OF THE SITH"

*How ironic that this story begins with the “rescue” of Chancellor Palpatine – the very person who has exploited the Jedi’s weaknesses to bring about their downfall. I wonder if both Anakin and Obi-Wan ever came to regret the success of their mission.

*I noticed how both Anakin and Obi-Wan seemed to be flying in perfect sync with each other in the opening sequences. And yet, as they get closer to Palpatine (who is “being held prisoner” aboard Grievous’ ship), things begin to go wrong. Perhaps this situation is an allegory of their relationship at this stage of the story.

*”Flying is for droids.” – Odd comment for Obi-Wan to make, considering that his former padawan is such an excellent pilot. Does this mean that Anakin can be viewed as a future droid?

The following is a list of minor notes and observations that came to me, during my recent viewing of "Episode II: Attack of the Clones". I hope that you enjoy them:

Notes on "STAR WARS: Episode II – Attack of the Clones"

*It is interesting that the story starts out with Coruscant – the seat of the Republic’s power – covered in a shroud of fog. Was this an allegory of the Republic’s impending doom? Or a sign of hidden secrets within the seats of power?

*Why did the Jedi believe they would have to protect the Republic in a military action, if the Separatists broke away? It seems as if the Republic and the Jedi were prepared to consider using military force to draw the Separatists back into the Republic, against their will.

*I noticed that both Mace and Ki-Adi had the same condescending attitude that the entire Council had in TPM, when explaining to Padme that Dooku could never be behind her assassination attempt.

The following is a list of minor notes and observations that came to me, during my recent viewing of "Episode I: The Phantom Menace". I hope that you enjoy them:

Notes and Observations on "STAR WARS": Episode I – The Phantom Menace"

*Both the Trade Federation and Darth Sidious seemed surprised that Supreme Chancellor Valorum had dispatched Jedi Knights to act as mediators between the Trade Federation and Naboo. Apparently, this discovery had led Sidious to order a premature invasion of Naboo.

*Why were the Trade Federation fearful of the Jedi, acting as ambassadors?

*Why would Boss Nass and the Gungans want Jar-Jar Binks banished for simply being clumsy? Why did his clumsiness bother him so much? Was this an indication of the Gungans’ lack of tolerance toward imperfection? Could one say the same about those STAR WARS fans who dislike Jar-Jar with a vengeance?

*”You overdid it.” – Was that Obi-Wan Kenobi admonishing his master, Qui-Gon Jinn, for making Jar-Jar too relaxed?

Luke Skywalker and Anakin Skywalker are both powerful, despite the fact that the prophesy deemed Ani "The Chosen One."
This is a kind response to anyone who thinks that Luke Skywalker is a lame pansy. Enjoy, and please feel free to share your thoughts, no matter if you like Luke or not! : )
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Why Nothing Is Wrong With Luke Skywalker:

1. Luke is loyal. Vader betrayed his fellow Jedi and the justice of the Republic for a selfish purpose: to save Padme. He cared little about the lives he ended. Only at the end of the Saga does Vader realize how much pain he's caused, and he realizes this by seeing the pain his son was experiencing at the hands of Sith Lord Sidious. Luke didn't have to turn to the Dark Side in order to see why he should be loyal to the good guys. He stuck with the Rebellion until justice was restored, even when he did find out that Vader was his father.

2. Luke didn't "screw up." A "screw up" is when someone makes a stupid mistake, NOT when someone willingly gives himself up to save his father. He merely refused to fight. It's not like he was incapable of fighting Vader or Sidious. I've watched Episode VI at least 15 times, and nowhere during the final fight between Luke and Vader did I see...

When I ask my friends who is their favorite Star Wars character is, the most common reply is Luke. Yes, you are entitled to your own opinion, but I think Luke sucks. The biggest reason people admire Luke is because he destroyed the Empire and blah, blah, blah. Technically, he didn't really do that, because Darth Vader was like, "AHHH!!! My son is getting his butt kicked by Emperor Palpatine! I'm ditching this role of Mr. Evil guy, and I'm gunna save him!" As you can see by my wonderful interpretation, Luke did not actually defeat the Emperor, Darth Vader rules, and the people who say Luke rocks, think of it this way. other Jedi are famous for destroying Sith as well, but the main difference between Luke and the other Jedi is that they don't rely on there daddies to save their sorry little behinds if they screw up.

The following is a list of minor notes and observations that came to me, during my recent viewing of "Episode VI: Return of the Jedi". I hope that you enjoy them:

NOTES AND OBSERVATIONS of "STAR WARS: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi"

*I have always found the launching of shuttles rather different in the STAR WARS saga, in compare to other science-fiction sagas. The Imperial shuttles leave the starships like drops of water from a faucet.

*The commander of the Death Star II seemed to react with horror at the news of the Emperor’s impending arrival. Quite a contrast to his mild nervousness at Vader’s arrival.

*When I first saw "Return of the Jedi", I must admit that I found the numerous creatures inside Jabba’s palace a bit overwhelming. Okay, a lot overwhelming.

*I like the way the camera suddenly in on the image of a frozen Han Solo hanging on Jabba’s wall. Very dramatic.

*Why would anyone torture a droid with hot irons?

This is a roleplay. You get to create or become a Star Wars character and we will write a story about it. Here, let me start it off.

Sebastian Johnson

Age: 13

Height: 5'4

Weight: 120 lbs.

Personality: Energetic/Serious; Persistent

Traits: African-American; Turquoise Eyes; Buzz-cut

Now it is you all's turn.

Once we have enough characters, we will start.

Four to five characters are enough, but we can still add more to the story if anyone wants to join.

Thanks!

And remember to be as creative as possible.

Grammar does count.

I really can not believe I have to write an article like this. But from what I have seen lately on the likes of "yahoo.com" and " EW.com" I feel the need to. Yes George Lucas has made some unwise decisions and he certainly knows how to invest in his baby. But..it is his world. As a Potter fan as well, there are things that Jo Rowling does or says about certain characters sometimes that pisses us off, BUT its her creation, world- she can change something, reveal something and we can disagree and say-- " WEll I wouldn't do that, or WHY JO!?!" Prime example is in 2007 AFTER the books were all out and finished and we as a fandom had become well acquainted with the characters she says " Dumbledore" is gay. Nothing wrong with gay people, but many of us never got that impression. My point is the tweaking of scenes has journalists or so called journalists saying " STAR WARS fans OUTRAGED!" " The Force is not with Lucas anymore" " Say NOOOO! to the new blu-ray". Media now days sucks. Unbiased reporting would be nice. And after six years its time to move on from the prequel bashing. Episodes 1-6 complete a whole story. I see nothing wrong with 1-3, yes they are in many opinions not as good...

1. His annoying-as voice. The way he says 'Master', among other words, drives me crazy!
2. He thinks he's so awesome, the way he thinks he is better than Obi-Wan, he can rival master Yoda as a swordsman, and he is more than ready to pass the trials. If he was, he would learn to control his anger, and not be so angry with Obi-Wan and the Council
3. He is too angry. His line in episode III: "I HATE YOU!" to Obi-Wan was completely unreasonable. Can anyone tell me why he would have reason to say such a thing? I would love to hear your explanations.
4. I understand his committed love to Padme, and that is why he turned to the dark side, but surely there was a better way to do things! He would have to be pretty weak to believe Sidious!

Well, that is all I can think of for the moment, but if I think of any later, I'll post it in the comments. Please remember that this is only my respectful opinion, and I would love to hear other peoples opinions, disagreements, etc. (Kindly, though, please)

there will be no ep 7 or ep 8 & 9 for that matter. Why ... well that takes a little explaining.

When Lucas first came up with the idea for "Star Wars" he envisioned it as a 12 part story that would be told in a similar fashion as the old Flash Gordon series. It didn't take him long to realize it wouldn't work that way so it got cut down to a 9 part story. The first trilogy was to be about the rise and fall of Anakin Skywalker. The second trilogy was to be about the rise of Luke Skywalker and the redemption of Anakin Skywalker. The third trilogy was to be about the "other" Skywalker that Yoda mentions in The Empire Strikes Back.

A little known fact is that up until Lucas was almost done writing the script for ep VI Leia was NOT the "other Skywalker". Lucas got stumped on what he could have Vader say to Luke near the end of their duel that would make Luke attack his father in a dark side fueled rage. To solve this problem he made Leia the "other Skywalker" and had Vader threaten her. This change did two things: 1) Made a lot of fans go "eewwww" ... he kissed his sister on the lips; 2) It eliminated the third trilogy. Lucas has many times stated that the...

The following is a list of minor notes and observations that came to me, during my recent viewing of “Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back”. I hope that you enjoy them:

NOTES AND OBSERVATIONS OF "STAR WARS: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back"

*Exactly who was in command of the Rebel Alliance base on Hoth – Leia or General Rieekan?

*What was Leia doing on Hoth with the Rebel Alliance military personnel? Why wasn’t she with the other political Rebel leaders?

*Ah yes! The ”I’ just as soon kiss a Wookie!” dialogue between Leia and Han. Charming, although slightly . . . childish.

*How . . . or should I say when did Han and Leia reach the point in which they became attracted to one another?

*It was interesting to see how Obi-Wan’s ghost faded with the emergence of Han on a tauntaun.

*”Why, you stuck up,... half-witted... scruffy-looking ...nerf-herder!” - Another charming, yet childish exchange between Leia and Han.

So Luke, Leia and Lando Headed for Tatooine. It was a such a ways out from other star systems. It was not even part of the Republic.

Once they reached Tatooine they knew they could not just barge into Jabba's Palace. Luke remembered where Ben's old house was beyond the dune sea. They went there to change into clothing and armor that would disguise them.

Then Luke headed back to the Dagobah system while Leia and Lando headed for Jabba's palace. " Please Hurry back Luke. I don't want anything to happen to you too...by the way, is something wrong. You look so shocked and scared" asked Leia worried

" Its too much to tell right now. Maybe when I get back. Dont worry I will be fine." Luke reassured her and kissed her on the cheek.

Then he Left. Lando and Leia left as well, they finally reached Jabba's palace. Leia dressed as a Bounty Hunter, Lando just has a guard.

" I want Bounty for this Wookie, 1500-no less" she demanded once in front of Jabba. The great slug laughed. " Ho Ho, the mighty Chewbacca. 1200 no more." he replied " 1500 or I set of this detonator " said Leia

" I have twins....God Help me"
Lord Vader watched as the Millennium Falcon flew away and as the fighter pilots in their ships all flew away. He knew one of them held his son Luke.

Frustrated that they did not reach the rebels in time, Vader took his anger out on Captain Needa. " You lost the FALCON! YOU TOLD ME WE WOULD MAKE IT IN TIME!" Vader said angrily.

" I...I thought we..we were stealthy enough to catch them by surprise...I'm sorry my Lord..NO..NO PLEASE D-!Ahh ahh" screamed Capt. Needa. Vader started to stranglehold him until he passed out.

" Hmmm...Yes. I'm sure you are. Apology excepted Captain Needa" said Vader with no empathy in his voice.

" Lord Vader we did manage to set a tracking device on the Falcon-They are headed for Bespin" said one of the Storm Troopers.

" Then that's where we head. To Cloud City." replied Vader with confidence.

Luke made his way to Dagobah and found the old Jedi Master Ben told him about. Yoda. Once they met, Yoda instructed him in further teachings of the force. He couldn't concentrate. He kept seeing Leia and Han in the clouds in danger.

So Han and Leia made Love on the Falcon together. She felt safe in his arms. Kissing they caressed each-others bodies. Then laid there in each-others arms peacefully.

" That was beautiful, if I do say so myself" whispered Han while holding Leia.

" Yeah...but what did it mean" asked Leia

" What the hell kind of question is that, what do you mean what did it mean?" Han said sharply moving away then getting up.

" I ONLY MEANT..did we have sex out of love, or just a mutual fling?"

" Look your worship, you clearly have something else on your mind. So why don't we forget this ever happened....I for one Liked it no matter what it meant!" Han said angrily.

" THATS BECAUSE YOU THINK I LOOK GOOD IN ANYTHING AND NOTHING! LASER BRAIN" Leia retorted angrily.

Then they started throwing each others clothes at one another in a kind of playful and frustrated manner. " OH you are such a nimrod Han-I don't know why I even...never mind." said Leia as she walked across the room naked to pick up her stuff so she could dress.

After that encounter with Vader. Leia ran outside to wait for her father. " Im sorry for your loss-what does he care!" she fumed to herself.

Over the next 2 years things got even more ugly between Leia and Lord Vader as she continued her mission for peace and justice; while Vader continued to ensue fear into the hearts of every creature in the galaxy.

Leia did manage to finally get the written details of the Death Star in hope for a weakness. Her ship the Tantive IV was on route to her home planet from receiving the stolen information.

" R2-D2 come here, you have to see these plans safely to Alderaan, dont worry about me." said the Princess.

The door exploded open and through the smoke came the towering figure that is Lord Vader. " Your Highness we meet again. Where are the stolen plans you intercepted?" demanded Vader

" I have no such plans and I dont know what your talking about." she lied

" Well then...Princess I shall keep you in the detention block until you decide you do know and do want to tell me." Vader retorted then stormed off.

Half of another person? she wondered. Standing there in the nude under the starlight. She put on her silky white nightgown and decided she was being a hormonal 18 yr. old.

" It just cant be. My mother is dead. My father is dead, and I have no living realitives." She then started to cry again. She always wanted to know her real parents and if she had any siblings.

But now was not the time to stress. Her and her foster father were going to meet the Emperor tomorrow and she needed sleep. She laid down on her bed and fell asleep.

Meanwhile...Lord Vader and the Emperor were having a visit.
" I want you to come with me tomorrow when I speak to Sen. Organa Vader." said Sidious
" The Princess? What for!?" asked Vader trying not to sound anxious

" No her father and her are meeting me. I am going to warn them about their ramblings in the Senate. I want you there for backup." replied Sidious shortly.

" As you wish my Master" said Vader with a bow.

So a few years went by. And Leia still remembered that odd moment between her and Lord Vader. Then something weird happened.

" What...what is this" Leia asked herself. She was referring to this odd feeling within her. It was almost...a FORCE. Something telling her that her she has not seen that last of Lord Vader....something else though.

" OH that's stupid...and impossible" she thought to herself.

Meanwhile on the dreadful Death Star that has been newly built and highly protected against a possible rebellion. Darth Vader was thinking of that Princess he met.

"Captain Needa! I want you and General Veers to go to the old Jedi Temple archives and make sure an Old Master by the name of Obi-Wan Kenobi is dead, also bring back to me records of his last doings." commanded Lord Vader

Captain Needa and General Veers took a space shuttle to Corucsant to investigate.

" Vader- what business do you have knowing whether or not your old Master is dead?" asked Grand Moff Tarkin

We Know the story of Luke and his relationship with his father Darth Vader. But we never got a look at Darth Vader's relationship with his daughter Princess Leia. Enjoy!

That fateful dark and dreadful day in the galaxy. Padme Amidala on the medical bed dying with only a few minutes to live, looked over at her two beautiful twins. She knew in her loving heart that even though she would die, her children would carry on her strong spirit for what is right but not always easy....and though it was painful she thought of how they would grow up with a part of their now fallen father in each of them.

" My babies, Oh Luke your so...adorable, and Leia...my pretty little girl, Mommy loves you both...very....much" and Padme was gone.

Meanwhile over on Emperor Sidious's ship their father had now been reborn as a monster. But something deep within him asked " Where is my wife Padme?-is she alright?"

" You killed her"- Sidious lied partially.

The following is a list of minor notes and observations that came to me, during my recent viewing of “Episode IV: A New Hope”. I hope that you enjoy them:

Notes and Observations of "STAR WARS: EPISODE IV - A NEW HOPE"

*According to the movie’s opening scrawl, Leia possessed the Death Star plans that could “provide freedom to the galaxy”. Is that what happened at the end of the movie?

*Wow! R2-D2 really looks worn and old aboard the Organas’ ship, the Tantive IV. It is easy to imagine that he has been around for over three decades.

*Are the troops firing upon the stormtroopers, Alderaanian troops? If so, does that mean Leia had contradicted herself when she told Tarkin and Vader that Alderaan was a peaceful planet?

*When Vader made his entrance, the first thing that popped into my mind was Anakin leading the clone troopers to the Jedi Temple in ROTS.

*Father and daughter meet. At last.

In the sort of heartwarming storyline one might expect from an elementary-school-style episode of "Glee," a 7-year-old girl has attracted an outpouring of support from Star Wars enthusiasts who read that she was being teased for her fandom.

Katie Goldman's mother, Carrie, wrote on her blog that first-grade boys at Katie's school in Evanston, Ill., were teasing her over her Star Wars water bottle because "it's only for boys." Katie (whose Star Wars enthusiasm has earned her the nickname "Little Jedi") already felt different for being adopted and for having to wear an eye patch. In response to the bullying, she asked her mother if she could bring a pink water bottle to school instead -- and then cried when her mom asked her why she wanted to switch.

Katie's story zoomed around several Star Wars message boards and sites the past month, picking up momentum as fans on Twitter sent messages of support and photos with the hashtag "May The Force Be with Katie." On Friday, 30,000 people on Facebook say they are wearing Star Wars-themed clothing in support of Katie. Even the cast of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" took notice, and sent Katie light sabers and other gear,...
