The final destination was now in sight. Omega Airbase. Six Tie Fighters were lined up outside, waiting for their next assignment.

John: *Driving the speeder bus down a hill, but stops. He looks at the entrance gate far to the right*
Imperial Officer 59: *Driving an Imperial Troop Transport out of the airbase*

The Landing Craft that would pick up John, and his group entered Chevrelium's atmosphere.

Republic Pilot: Omega Airbase control tower. Omega Airbase control tower. Do you copy?
Imperial Engineer: This is Omega Airbase control tower. Identify, over.
Republic Pilot: We are in serious trouble. Request immediate permission to land.
Imperial Engineer: Transmit clearing codes.
Republic Pilot: Transmitting now. One engine out. Losing altitude.
Imperial Engineer: You are clear for immediate landing.
Republic Pilot: *Turns right, and heads for the airbase*
John: *Looks to the left, and sees the landing craft*

With the Landing Craft in sight, John went straight for the entrance gate.

John: *Crashes through the gate, passing four Scout Troopers*
Scout Troopers: *Firing at the bus with their rifles*
Morris & Mary: *Shoot the Scout Troopers with their E-11's*
Imperial Engineer: *Activates an alarm*

Alarm: link

Republic Pilot: *Turns the landing craft around, and lands on the end of the runway*
John: *Crashes into a Tie Fighter*

The Tie Fighter landed on a fuel tank, and exploded. John didn't hesitate to do the same to the other five Tie Fighters. Once all six of them were destroyed, more stormtroopers went out to chase them in four IFT-D's.

Another alarm was activated: link

Imperial Engineer: Fighter Squadron 126, request immediate air support! Fighter Squadron 126, come in!!
John: Get the control tower!!
Morris & Mary: *Firing at the control tower*

Their blasters put holes all over the control tower, and the man inside.

Imperial Engineer: Ah!!! *Falls down*
Stormtroopers: *Catching up in an IFT-D*
Morris: *Shoots the driver*

The first one flipped over. Now there were three more they had to get rid of.

John: *Getting closer to the landing craft*
Republic Pilot: *Hits a button that makes the back door open*
John: *Takes a right turn, and stops behind the Landing Craft*
Morris: *Runs out of the bus, and into the Landing Craft with Mary, Heidi, and Cartwright*
John: *Shoots at the second IFT-D*

All of his shots missed. When the stormtroopers returned fire, they were only able to hit the bus. Five shots nearly hit John.

John: *Climbs up on top of the speeder bus, and shoots the Stormtroopers, watching their IFT-D explode. Once that's out of the way, he runs into the Landing Craft*
Morris: We're all here, go!
Republic Pilot: *Takes off*
Stormtroopers: *Shooting at the Landing Craft*
Republic Pilot: *Closes his eyes as three shots hit the cockpit windows*

After that, they were out of range, and safely on their way back to Coruscant.

"MY PROBLEM WITH KYLO REN"

Kylo Ren has to be THE MOST overrated character I have ever seen in the Star Wars saga. I am amazed by how so many fans have gone out of their way to put this guy on a pedestal. My personal disgust for this worship has nothing to do with him being portrayed as a villain. There are plenty of other villains - within the saga or not - that I actually find interesting. My problem with Kylo Ren is that I do not find him either interesting or well written.

I will start this article with a question. What was the reason behind Kylo Ren aka Ben Solo embracing evil? What was...

"STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII - THE LAST JEDI" (2017) Review

Following the success of the Disney Studios' first hit STAR WARS film, "STAR WARS: EPISODE VII - THE FORCE AWAKENS", I had assumed that producer-director J.J. Abrams would helm the next chapter in the franchise's Sequel Trilogy. I was eventually surprised to learn that Lucasfilm president, Kathleen Kennedy, hired writer-director Rian Johnson to both write and direct "EPISODE VIII".

My positive reaction to the news about Johnson being hired by Lucasfilm originated with my reaction to his 2012 film, "LOOPER". I found Johnson's 2012 film to...

Captain Smith: Gentlemen, as of this moment, all Imperials have been pushed away from Coruscant. We've done it. This planet is now ours!
Pilots: *Cheering*
Mary: *Walks over to Smith, and hugs him* I want you to have this. *Holding a box for the Captain* You're being promoted.
Captain Smith: *Opens the box, and sees his Major badge* Thank you.
Mary: Don't thank me, thank the General, but I would like to take you out to dinner. *Kisses Smith*

The song fades away as the other pilots cheer. Meanwhile on Chevrelium, things were not so pleasant.

General Kar: You have betrayed me for the last...

John, and Morris walked into the center of the village, where the cable car station was. Three Imperial Troop Transports stopped next to the station.

Stormtrooper 75: *Opens the back door*
Stormtrooper 62: *Pushes Barkley, Thomas, and Christianson out* Go. Into the cable car station.

Song: link

John & Morris: *Climbing a ladder to the roof of the cable car station*

They walked towards the edge, climbed over a fence, and waited for the cable car to move up.

Barkley: *With Thomas, and Christianson. Their hands are tied with rope as they are being moved to the cable car station by two...

I am a huge Star Wars fan, I've been a fan since I was 7 years old. I am what some would call an O.T. generation kid, but I also really loved the prequels and Jar Jar Binks as well, still can't figure out why some fan hate him so much, but this isn't about the prequels or Jar Jar, it's about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

As a "O.T." kid I loved this movie, all the small call backs to A New Hope were awesome and they were done right, they were not "ham-handed" and they did not feeling like fan service to me.

I fell in love with all the characters so quickly and that just made me care about them more and to me that is a sign of a great director and a great story teller. So, I say great job Gareth Edwards, great job.

I don't want to give any spoilers away, so I don't think there is anymore I can say without spoiling it. So, if you haven't seen Rogue One: A Story Wars Story yet........ what are you waiting for?

Alarm (Start at 1:14): link

John: *Slowly opens the door, and sees that no one is watching them* They're gone. Coast is clear. *Walks out of the room with the others* Lieutenant, get the rope.
Morris: Alright.

As he was getting the rope, the other five slowly looked around the hallway. Dead Imperials were everywhere.

John: *Walks down the spiral staircase*
Mary: *Following John*
Cartwright: *Pointing his blaster at Barkley, and Christianson*
Imperials: *Walking up the staircase* Back up the stairs!!
John: Get back. *Pushes the others away from the stairs, and leads them forward to the other...

Back at Mary's room.

Major Von Hapen: Goodnight Maria. *Kisses her hand* You are a very charming girl.
Mary: Thank you Major.
Major Von Hapen: We must get to know each other just a little bit more.
Mary: Yes we must. Goodnight. *Closes her door*

Song (Start at 0:58): link

Major Von Hapen: *Gets a sudden urge that something's not right*
Mary: *Locks her door*
Major Von Hapen: *Hears the lock, and rubs his chin with his hand, and walks down the corridor*
John: *Watching Barkley, Thomas, and Christianson writing names in their books*
Major Von Hapen: *Walks pass the Tie Interceptor. It begins to snow again*...
