This story takes place directly after the events of the amazing game Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords. It is just a fan fiction and never really happened.
It had been not long after the Jedi exile, Meetra Surik, had battled and beaten the Sith lord Darth Traya, The Jedi exile's master. The Ebon hawk floated in space at this point. The exile named Meetra had wandered into the cockpit of the Ebon Hawk. There, flying the ship, was the scoundrel Atton Rand. “So... How'd it go?” asked Atton. “Kreia, or as she is now identified as, Darth Traya was fairly easy to fight and beat... even though she had a few tricks I didn't know about,” said the exile.”Like what?” said the curious scoundrel. “Well she controlled multiple light-sabers at once with what I suspect was The Force.” “pff... Jedi,” He replied at the statement.
Meetra Surik wandered out of the cockpit into the garage. At this point it was obvious to tell she was checking on the crew. “Bao-Dur?” she said. “Yes, General?” replied the Iridonian, Bao-Dur. “Just checking on the crew of the ship,” she replied. As its master said this, HK-47 walked to the garage with Meetra Surik, the Jedi exile and Bao-Dur, the Iridoinian. “STATEMENT: Master, I am in no need of being “checked on.” I am in perfect condition of handling myself if any Meat-Bag tried to attack, assault or do anything offensive towards me.” “I know this HK-47.” she stated to the assassin droid.
After Meetra checked on Mira, Mical, GOTO, T3-M4, Visas, and Madalore the Preserver, She walked into cockpit and told Atton to fly the Ebon Hawk to Onderon. He obeyed this order and flew her and the rest of the crew to The planet of Onderon, home to the famous walled city of Iziz. They arrived shortly after the demand of travel and landed in a large star-port, fit for the size of the Ebon Hawk. Surik took out her Star-Port Visa. She then went to and out of the garage onto the clean floor of the city she was in, Iziz.
Meetra walked through a fair-sized pathway to a part of the city. She then made her way between and on the side of two turrets. Queen Tali's soldiers welcomed her there. “Going somewhere General?” Asked her follower, Bao-Dur behind her. He surprised Surik and she directly turned around to face him.
“Bao-Dur … what are you doing following me?” She asked him. “You checked on us General. I thought I might check on you too.” “It's okay. I'm fine.” “Then Atton and I will come with you if you don't mind.” “I'd rather have Atton stay there. I need someone to look after the ship. How about HK-47?” “That would be alright General.” Bao-dur left to go get HK-47.
Meetra Surik waited for them and slowly got impatient. Bao-Dur arrived with the droid. “STATEMENT: Master, I am aware you sent the Iridionian to get me.” “Yes. I did send Bao-Dur to get you HK-47. Come on I’m tired of waiting. Let's go!” Meetra Surik ran off with Bao-Dur and HK-47 after her.
After running for a short time, the group was quickly at the Western Square Meanwhile in the Ebon Hawk, Atton and the rest of the crew were having a conversation in the cargo hold. What's She doing?” asked Atton to the rest of the crew. “Why do you want to know?” asked Mira.” “I'm just curious.” He said to her. “Well we won't know without following her.” Mandalore responded. “We're going to follow the exile?” Asked GOTO. “No; I'm just stating that that's pretty much the only way to know.” “The only way huh?” asked Atton.”I'm gonna get going.” Atton made his way the the cockpit and grabbed a stealth field generator with out anyone knowing.
Meetra, Bao-dur and Hk47 were already at the sky ramp.
“Hold! Who's trying to get to the sky ramp?” asked one of Talia's soldiers in a loud tone. “It is I Meetra Surik. I came to see Talia.” “I will have to have some one see if it is okay.” responded the soldier. Just in time Queen Talia wandered to them for some reason. “Surik, it is a long time since I have seen you. Follow me.” she said to Meetra. She and the others followed her to the palace.
They walked through a few halls before reaching where Talia's throne sat. She sat down and began talking to Meetra and her group. Atton was secretly listening and watching.
“So have you seen Kavarr?” asked the queen. “He.... Kavarr is dead.” “How- how is this possible?” Talia asked in shock. “Darth Traya murdered him and the rest of the Jedi council.” Surik replied. “This is terrible news!” exclaimed Talia. “You sound overly shocked,” stated Bao-Dur. “OBSERBATION: You do sound shocked at this new information. What is it about the news that makes you shocked?” asked HK-47. “How can you not understand why? I am shocked because hearing about the death of my friend,Kavarr and the other Jedi is terrific news!”
Talia said.
“Now who again did you say killed them?” Talia asked. “Darth Traya did.” “Darth traya?” asked Talia. “Who is that?” “She was in her once. She fought against General Vaklu. Her identity back then was Kreia.” “The old woman? She is the one that came here earlier!” “Came here?” Meetra asked in a surprised tone. “Yes! She said that you would come here and that I should tell you to go to Korriban.” She said to Surik. Korriban? Meetra is not going to Korriban without me there to protect her! Kreia might be there. I have to tell her we can't make it to Korriban. Thought Atton. “Why would she say that?” Meetra said. She thought for a short amount of time then stopped. “I'll have to go to Korriban to find out.” She said. “Well, anyway I was just checking on you and Onderon.” Meetra Surik said to Talia as she walked off with Bao-Dur and HK-47.
Atton chased after them.Meetra, Bao-Dur, and HK-47 were making their way to the Ebon hawk while Atton was trying to get ahead of them. Meetra was nearing the Ebon hawk when he did it. He made his way to the cockpit before Meetra knew anything. He slipped into his chair behind the window as Meetra Surik ran in. At this point he was aware of what she was going to tell him. He was also aware of what he was going to tell her.
“Atton, we need to get going to Korriban,” Surik commanded Atton. “Uh.. We can't make it to Korriban,” he replied.“Why not asked Meetra to Atton. “Well i- uh...” Just when Atton began stuttering Mandalore walked within distance of them, enough for him to speak. “Because the ship isn't working quite well enough for the landing of Korriban.” Mandalore said to Meetra Surik and a breathless Atton. Mandalore quietly nodded at Atton and then left knowing he had just saved Atton's butt.
Meetra began thinking of ways to get to Korriban while Atton slipped out of his chair and went to the main hold were Mandalore stood. “Why did you...” Atton began. “I knew you tried to sneak away,” said Mandalore. “Tried? I did sneak out. Meetra didn't know. “Yeah but I did.” Mandalore replied. “I saved your butt because now you owe me.” “Owe you?” Atton asked. “Yeah, you owe scoundrel. Plus I don't think too big of the idea of going to Korriban.” “Alright then. I'll do one thing for you later.” “Agreed.” said Mandalore with a smile not visible due to his helmet.
Meetra was still thinking of a way to get to Korriban when Atton walked in the room. “What are you doing?” he asked “Just thinking.” she replied. “We're not going to Korriban Meetra.” Atton said. “It's not safe there. Kreia could hurt you.” “How do you know about Kreia?” Meetra asked. “Uh....” So much for sneaking out. Now I'm taking her and owe Mandalore for nothing. Atton thought. “Atton take me there now. If you're worried I'll get hurt you can come with me.” “Fine but only if a few other come too. I never trusted that old witch.” Atton agreed.
Atton then flew to the sith world of Korriban. He flew out of the star port the stationary Ebon Hawk was docked at, out of the atmosphere of Onderon and into outer space. Flying to Korriban wasn't very long or hard and the crew soon found themselves on the desert planet's sand after it docked. The ran out of the garage and onto the floor to get there. They also soon found that Darth Traya was nowhere to be found.
“Where is she?” Meetra said to herself and the rest of the crew. “It appears that she is not in our immediate area.” said Bao-Dur. “Maybe she's in the academy or the cave next to it.” He then stated. Exile, you defeated me on Malachor V. You made me more proud than you will ever know. Although you did not destroy the force you did best me. And I am proud. I am in the caves Bao-Dur spoke of. Come alone, Exile. Darth Traya said. “Kre- ahh... get out of my head!” Meetra Surik said Grabbing both sides of her head and bending over in pain. “Meetra!” Atton said running to grab her. As he grabbed hold of her the pain left her body.
“I- I'm okay Atton.” “Where is she?” Atton asked with anger in his voice. “She's in the caves. She said I had to go by myself. Atton tried hard to hold back his anger. Meetra Surik sensed this quickly. “Atton take away your anger and let go of your emotions,” she said. Atton tried hard to do as she said. “Don't let them take you over. This is not something to get upset about. I can handle myself. “Y-yeah I guess so.” Atton said in a much more calm tone.
Surik used the force to speed up her movements. She very quickly got to the caves with the force aiding her speed. She entered a dark area with a worried face. She didn't need to get very far before realizing Darth Traya was close. She might be in the same area, the same space. She's close I know it. She thought. “Hello Exile,” said a mysterious and familiar voice.
“Kreaia?” Began Meetra. “Fool! Kreia is no more. I am Darth Traya now..” Said Traya. “What did you call me here for?” asked Meetra Surik. “Call you? I did not call you here Exile, I merely told the Queen of Iziz to do so. She is my pawn now I control her. Can you not see it?” Darth Traya asked. Suddenly a blurry image of Queen Talia using a Vibroblade to kill one of her guards appeared. She would be covered in blood from the murder. Meetra was suddenly deafened except the sounds of Traya's voice. Many voices, all of them belonging to Traya. Meetra heard Traya's voice saying different sentences, different words, different syllables all at the same time very loudly. It was torture.
“Stop!” screamed Meetra with a tear coming for her left eye. “Darth Traya silenced the voices and let Meetra hear again. “Can you not see it?” Traya screamed again. “The image you saw was fake. I do not wish to waste Talia's energy like what I showed. I have much bigger plans for her.” “Bigger plans?” Meetra asked. “Silence Exile.” Traya said. “You will become a pawn just like her. Our force bond survived our battle. You almost severed it though. And I need to keep it the way it is. Pay attention.” Traya said as she showed a vibroblade. She used the vibroblade to cut some of the flesh on her arm, below where her hand used to be. “AHH!” Meetra screamed in Pain.
“Silence fool!” Traya said. She then used the force to heal her and herself. Go back to your crew and be aware that you will need more than one broken Jedi to defeat me again. And remember not to fight back when I turn you into a pawn.” Traya said with a smile.
Meetra made her way towards the exit, almost running form Darth Traya. She searched for a short time until she found the exit. She then ran outside to the Valley of the Dark Lords. She spotted her ship and made her way to it quietly. Don't forget! She could hear Darth Traya say in her head. Her body was filled with pain after hearing the voice. She could not find a way to use the force this time. She just ran in fear, pain, and misery. She wanted to be back in Atton's arms, to be safe.
“What happened? What did she do to you?” asked Atton after seeing the tired and hurt Jedi. “I- I was hu-hurt, Att-ton,” said Meetra trying hard to get words out. “She hurt you?” asked Atton. “I'll kil-” Atton began. “No Atton. She is stronger than before. And our force bond still exists. That means if yo-y- you try to hurt her she'll hu-hurt me.” Stated Surik. She was still in pain. “RECOMENDATION: I suggest taking her to the medical bay.” Said HK-47. “Right.” Said Atton with a nod. He and Bao-Dur carried Surik to the medical bay and let her rest on the beds as the rest of the crew hurried in.
Mira, the former bounty hunter, now Jedi, walked into the medical bay and asked if she could help heal Meetra. “I guess I could use help.” Said Mical. “Who said you were going to heal her?” Atton asked Mical. “I just figured I would care for her due to my training in healing.” “Mira can handle it. She'll use the force or something I guess.” “Alright then.” said Mical. “Yeah, alright.” Mira said to Atton with an annoyed tone.
Mira began healing while Atton and Mical walked off to the cockpit. “What do you think you're doing?” asked Atton. “I was trying to help the exile.” stated Mical. “She doesn't need your help.” Said Atton. “And I'm pretty sure no one in this ship needs you.” “ Fine then, I will discuss with the exile about leaving.” Said Mical. He too was starting to get annoyed at Atton.
Meetra Surik had been asleep for a long time. The crew was falling apart. Mira And Mical were annoyed at Atton, Atton was worried for Meetra, Meetra was hurt, Mandalore, was trying to take over, no one would listen to HK-47, Bao-Dur was worried for everyone, visas was meditating alone, T3-M4 was lost with the crew becoming lost, and GOTO didn't care about any of it. Mira was stilling working on healing Meetra although the chaos was going on. She stayed focused on it well.
Meetra finally awoke. She was better physically, but was having a hard time recovering mentally due to sensing the havoc on the ship so she stayed in bed without Mira noticing that she was awake. She heard everyone's thoughts. She learned how to do so by the teaching of Darth Traya. When she taught her how she was still known as Kreia. Meetra Ignored this fact and focused on the thoughts of the crew. What is his problem? Mira though. Atton is out of control. Thought Mical. Meetra doesn't need his help. No one does. Thought Atton. Maybe if someone listened to a Mandalorian for once this wouldn't have happened. Thought Mandalore.
“Mira, What happened to the crew? Everyone's thought are corrupted.” Said Surik. “Why don't you ask everyone else?” asked Mira. “Well okay then. Why are your thought corrupted, Mira.?” “I don't know what you mean. I was just thinking that Atton was being annoying.” answered Mira. “Alright then. I'm going to see what the rest of the crew is doing.” Said Meetra. “Be my guest,” said Mira.
Meetra limped out of the Medil Bay. She walked around the Ebon Hawk and ended up in the main hold. Mandalore stood on the floor of the main hold. “Mandalore, will you tell me why your thought are the way they are?” asked Meetra “What is it with Jedi and reading people's minds?” Mandalore asked. “Look the crew is falling apart and I just thought that if a leader started leading that I could get the crew to recover. But it looks like I wont' need to because your up. Which means it's your problem now.”
“Alright then. That means I fixed your thoughts,” Meetra said with a smile. “Whatever,” said Madalore. Meetra walked into the cockpit. It wasn't very far away. “Atton?” Meetra asked. “Somethin' up?” asked Atton. “Meetra doesn't need his help. No one does.” repeated Meetra Surik. “Who were you talking about?” She asked. “Look, if you want the answer you better stay out of my head.” Atton declared. “You're just as bad as that old witch. You're always reading people's minds like their yours. People need privet thoughts, ones you can't just use the force to hear or read.” “I... I didn't mean to offend anybody.” a crushed Meetra said. “I know that. But just try to think a little more next time. Anyway why don't you go check on that moron.”said Atton. “Al-alright Atton.” said Meetra Surik.
Meetra ran out of the cockpit into the medical bay. “Mica-” Surik began. She suddenly stopped. No one was there. Not just in the medical bay but in the ship as well. Where had Mical gone? “Hello once again exile.” Said a voice. “Traya! What did you do to my friends?” asked Meetra. “Friends? They are not your friends. Your allies only follow you because they have nowhere else to go. And because you influence then through the force. Now be silent I have some things to talk to you about.
“Show yourself,” Meetra demanded. “I do not need to. I am here just to command you. You will do the things I say or you will be harmed.” “I won't do the things you ask me no matter how much pain you put me in.” Meetra yelled. “Silent fool! Darth Traya said. “I will put your friends in harm's way as well.” “No you won't! I won't let you!” yelled Surik. “It is not a choice you are able to make. You will have to do what I say. I control you, Exile.” argued Darth Traya. “Now go, leave the medical bay. The disciple will have to wait.” Traya said. She was talking about Mical, the first part of her plan.
“I will remain hidden on this ship. In the port dorm. As for you, you will confront the disciple and convince him to tell Atton to take him to Dantooine. As he leaves, you will leave as well. As will I. We will both meet in The Khoonda Plains, Exile.” Planned Darth Traya. “If you do not follow my orders Atton will be the first to go. Then the disciple. Then Bao-Dur. Now go. Go see the disciple. He is in the starboard dorm. Meetra didn't have much of choice so she did as she was asked. She walked into the starboard dorm.
“Mical, I need you to do something for me,” she said. “A- a- Anything,” Mical stuttered. “I need you to convince Atton to take us to Dantooine,” she said. “I fail to understand why you would have me do such a thing. But, I will do as you say,” he agreed. “Thank you Mical,” Meetra said to him. He walked to the cockpit and told Atton to drop him off at Dantooine.
“Take me back to Dantooine,” He said to the scounrel. “Alright. I was gonna do it anyway,” Atton said. “Just get me away from you,” Mical said.
