I geuss you are referring to the fact that he is extremely pale, cause his skin color has always been white. And as it has been said here before, he hasnt been in the sun for a long time and that's the reason for him being pale, or did you think he turned into a vampire or something?
Yup, it's DARTH Vader. Iv'e always wondered if there's a connection between the philosophical symbolism of the DA'At sphere in the Kabbala and DARTH Vaders' name (George Lukas being a mystic and all that). There's definately strong symbolism in every other aspect of the trlogy, with regards to one's focus determining their reality... . Anyone else out there interested in the deeper levels of Jedi philosophy?
Darth vader has always been white he was just wearing a black helmet that kept him alive. And at the end of episode 3 he was red so the burns just healed and his skin turned white again.
Anakin AKA Darth (NOT Dark) Vader is white. In the original movies (Before the prequels movies 1,2,3) Darth Vaders voice is by a black guy in a black suit. But when Luke helps take the mask off Anakin IS white, just like before. He din't have plastic surgery or something.
Well, he has always been white, but if you were stuck in a black suit for all those years out in space, where everything is dark unless you land on the sun and suntan- LOL kidding- your going to be pretty Pale too.
Wow, reading some of these comments gives me a headache! It's DARTH Vader. Not DARK Vader. If you were real Star Wars fans, you would know this. Geeze. Old Obi-Wan specifically emphasized the TH in Darth in the fourth movie. And he's always been white. Just because he wears black, does not mean he's black. Common sense people.
