Does anyone believes this?

I've heard people say Spongebob was actually an adult cartoon and was going to be on adult swim but they change it.Is it me or that's a bunch of garbage?Does anybody believes this?Is this true and where's the proof?Someone please help me out here.

I searched Google and all I saw were different opinions from people saying it was intended for adults and it wasn't. I do think it has some hidden adult humor in certain episodes like Animaniacs had, content little kids don't quite understand.

That's true.And Nick DID had spongebob first because Adult swim was launched in 2001
