I'm stuck between these two:

1) When Spike was going to kill Buffy, but comforted her instead when he saw that she was crying.

2) In "Touched", when Spike is the only one on Buffy's side, and he says all of his heart-felt words, including:

"You listen to me. I've been alive a bit longer than you, and dead a lot longer than that. I've seen things you couldn't imagine, and done things I prefer you didn't. I don't exactly have a reputation for being a thinker. I follow my blood, which doesn't exactly rush in the direction of my brain. So I make a lot of mistakes, a lot of wrong bloody calls. A 100+ years, and there's only one thing I've ever been sure of: you. Hey, look at me. I'm not asking you for anything. When I say, "I love you," it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you. And I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman. You're the one, Buffy."

Almost everything he did for her was sweet (except that one incident that was totally not his fault), but the biggest ones are probably getting his soul for her, dying for her, that speech in Touched, and just holding her when she thought she was abandoned. Also never giving up on her. And taking her abuse to make her feel better. And-I'm getting to carried away, aren't I?

I think there is no sweetest thing he's ever done he's done so many it'd have to be sweetest things he's ever done. Although 2 of my choices would be being there for buffy in Touched (that speech was beutiful)and taking care of Dawn even after buffy died just because he promised her he would.

In my opnion, the sweetest things were: not giving up that Dawn was the key to Glory, getting a soul for Buffy, taking care of Dawn after Buffy died and his speech in Touched. Wow, there's so many I can't choose! :)

Spike and buffy always hated eachother guts, I mean they would bicker all the time, until the miracle day came where spike realised he was in love with buffy.
The sweetest things spike has done without a soul, are well first of all in intervention, when despite all the to torture he didn't tell glory who the key was because he knew how much it would hurt buffy. spike was obsessive but he honestly really did care about buffy. He kept his promise to buffy and took care of dawn when buffy died. And he was always the one there for her, especially in season 6 when she couldn't get over the fact she had left heaven.
Then he got his damn sould back for her, and that is by choice. And in season 7 he might of been insane at first but he brought tears to my eyes at times especially when near the start he hugged the cross. And talked to himself.
Then when everyone in season 7 was against buffy, he kept her up and going, ( touched). He was always the one who belived in buffy just like she belived. I always found buffy to be a huge bitch to spike, and that was just annoying.
I wish spike and buffy could have ended up together, and I wish that the I love you In the season finale was her true feelings, but.. Oh well.
Spike was undoubtedly my favriout charecter in the whole show, he changes ALOT

I'm torn between two.

1. Not betraying Dawn to Glory in season 5.
2. Sacrificing himself in Chosen.
